"CHANEL NOW ARE YOU READY FOR SCHOOL?" Mom said loudly
I honestly with she would stop yelling so loud this early in the morning like damn.
"Yes mom like I am putting on my shoes now" I said shaking my head
As I said that then she popped up at my door with a concern look on her face for some reason.
"Um Chanel now did you say as I quote the word DAMN?" She said crossing her arms
I most definitely did but how would see know that I said like what she won't know won't kill her.
"I said dang as in d-a-n-g" I said rolling my eyes
"Yo smart ass didn't have to spell it like I'm slow and shit now hurry up and eat yo breakfast before you are late Chanel" She said walking away
I grabbed my purse along with my phone and house keys because mom is not going to be home when I get off of the bus like I am not tryna get stuck outside and shit. I turned off my bedroom lights then closed the door and started making my way downstairs to the kitchen before I walked into the kitchen like I placed my purse on the couch.
"Your plate is on the table now are you riding the bus or am I taking you to school?" She said looking at me
Ride on the bus with those annoying ass kids or what?
"I'll ride on the bus with those bad as-... I mean butt kids mom" I said smiling
She pointed at me while smirking.
"How you and yo as your uncle would say boy toy been doing?" She said crossing her arms
I rolled my eyes and shook my head at her.
"Mom please now he is not my boy toy like what the fuck but we are just friends or whateva" I said eating
"Mmhm sure whateva you say but when it gets time to talk about the bird and bees then talk to me not yo fucking father or uncle shit maybe Keisha or grandma but yeah" Mom said smiling
I know she did not just say the "bird and bees" like what the hell mom.
"Mom come on like can I figure out what I am going to be eating tonight for dinner like dang" I said shaking my head
As we stood there just talking then that's when I heard the bus horn go off which made me get up and run towards the couch to grab my things. Mom opened the front door for me while watching me walk down the driveway towards the bus that was currently waiting for me.
"BYE BABY NOW HAVE A NICE DAY AND I LOVE YOUUUU" She said smiling
I waved to her then got on the bus and walked towards the back of the bus to sit in the last seat. As I placed my things next to me then I put my airpods in to block all the nose that was currently happening around me. That's when one of my dad songs started playing On My Way 2 School if I couldn't relate to this right now.
