Y/n POV

I woke for the day getting ready for work

Starting my regular routine of shower, putting some clothes on, doing my hair, making breakfast, etc.

I just started working for a guy named Vinnie Hacker

I never even knew him but they claimed he was my boss

As I walked in eyes were on me but it was normal

Every day when I walked in people looked at me like I was crazy

Word around office I was a show off and dressed like I was the richest then everyone

I never realized until I compared what I wore to what other woman wore

Women wore these plain colored dresses with black heels

You would never catch me in a plain ass dress

Anyways I walked into the meeting room because they said the boss was actually coming to talk about what we were working on

All the coworkers were sitting, and I sat on the end of the table because I was the main speaker for us

I got my papers ready to speak and that's when the most handsome man I've ever seen walked inside

He sat down and made straight eye contact with me from across the table

"Well I see we have a new recruit" he said chuckling and I smiled

"My name is y/n," I said looking at his face

"Vinnie nice to have you here" he said not breaking eye contact once

He cleared his throat then proceeded to get into business

I gave him ideas and he liked them and the coworkers agreed

*after the meeting*

"Y/n may you stay after a bit" Vinnie asked and I sat back down in a chair closer to him

"I like how you presented yourself today. You seem very useful for my company" he said taking a sip of water he brung

I looked down and giggled blushing

"Thank you I-"

"I have a question to ask you" he said cutting me off and I was kinda offended

"Go ahead and ask" I say curiously

"Would you like to go out for something to eat" he asked and I really wasn't down for it

"Sorry I have a lot of work to finish" I got up about to leave

"Sorry if I came off rude...here," he quickly wrote something down on paper and gave it to me

"My number if you ever change your mind" he said standing up

He opened the door for me and I walked out taking a look back at him and he smiled

I walked out and got in my car leaving to go to my home

I got out of my work clothes and wore some shorts with a sports bra

I did the work I was assigned to do which was a lot and finished at 10pm

I sighed looking at all the work I just finished and saw the paper that Vinnie gave me

I picked it up opening it at the same time and saw his number

I smiled at myself and got ready for bed

Finishing my night routine and going to bed for the next day.

A/n: it's gone take another chapter before I get to the drama parts so be patient

Also I'll change the cover once I make one really quickly tomorrow
