Y/n pov

I woke up and walked to my hotel bathroom

I literally cried all last night right when I got into my hotel room
You're probably wondering where did I go exactly?
I went to New York which was a long flight

My phone stopped buzzing off  an hour into the flight and I lowkey wanted to go back but I also didn't just by thinking of Kenzie

"I shouldn't have to cry like this. I left for a reason." I said to myself I took a motivation shower and got ready in my sexiest outfit

It was like 10am and I decided to go check out the restaurants and stuff like that

I was walking when I bumped into some guy and his almost fell out his hand, but I caught it

"Sorry I- Jaden??" I said and he smiled at me

"Y/n.. nice to meet you again" he said and I started to freeze up

I started to back up and quickly turned around speed walking away

"Wait y/n stop please I need to talk to you" he yelled chasing after me

I turned around

"What is it that you have to talk to me about." I said getting annoyed

"Can we go sit down somewhere.. please" he asked and I looked around seeing the nearest spot

"Hurry up and don't waist my time" I said heading to The Capital Grille

We took our seats and a waiter came up to us asking if we wanted anything

Jaden insisted so I agreed just to have free food

"Get to talking I don't have all day" I say

"Listen I was never going to hurt you the last time we interacted" he says and I rolled my eyes

"Well sending guys to come to my home and try to hurt me doesn't really say much" I said making a smart combat

"What are you talking about? I never sent guys to your house" he said confused

"Stop playing stupid Jaden" I crossed my arms

"Trust me with this y/n. I never sent any guys" that made me confused on who could've done it

My phone started buzzing so I picked it up not even reading the caller

"Y/n?" My heart dropped when I heard Vinnie's voice

"Vin?" I said back into the phone

"Y/n where are you? You weren't at your house or mine" he said and I could hear the nervousness in his voice

"I'm ok i just needed some time away from us.. you... Kenzie" I say and a sigh came from Vinnie's lips

"Please tell me where you are so we can talk, or share your location at leas-"

"No. I'll come back when I'm ready"

"And how long will that be. I need you here" he said and my heart literally pounded out of my chest

"Let me find out and I'll text you when I'm coming back. And don't come find me or I will run from you again"

"Wait before you go. Does this mean we're... over" he asked

"No Vin it just means we're taking a break"

"I thought we were doing good" he said as his voice cracked

"We were it's just the things I've heard about Kenzie weren't so good and I got scared" I explained

I ended the call and turned my gaze into Jaden who was admiring me so snapped my finger making him come back to earth

"So you know about Kenzie" he said with a smirk

"Not a big fan" I joked an he chuckled

"I see..look I have to go. I'll text you when I'm free" He said smiling back at me as the waiter took his card so he could pay the bill

"Ok" I said getting up from the table and he got up too getting his card back

I went back to the hotel and laid down

"This is gonna be a weird get away"
