I got out the car and waved goodbye and walked towards the front door of Vinnie's house.

I opened it to see Vinnie standing at the front with his hands crossed

"Hey baby what's going on?"

I closed the door behind me and walked towards him but he backed away

"Why did I get a call from Jordan that you were with Jaden laughing it up with him at an event" he asked and I felt my body tense

"It was just a little mission to prove myself Vin. I'm not working with him I swear" I say pleading but he didn't even say anything to me

He walked away before saying something that wasn't pleasing to my ears

"Take her away and do anything to keep her there"

My eyes started to water

"No. No Vinnie don't do this" his men grabbed my arm dragging me away

"VINNIE!!" I yelled kicking my feet trying to yank my arms out of their grip

I soon felt a needle enter my arm and my eyes started to weigh down.

I woke up hearing a door open and close shut

My eyes fluttered open adjusting to the setting I was in

"Y/n I never thought I would have to do this. I could never imagine, but I had too" Vinnie started

He removed the cloth from my mouth letting me breathe from my mouth

"Tell me the truth and I won't hurt you" he said

My eyes started watering at the fact he would hurt me for some information that's useless

"The day you told me to not go and do anything to them, I- I went and asked him why he liked my parents. It led to him saying I was useless when I asked why he didn't kill me. I told him I wasn't," I started taking a good look at him

"I asked him what I could do and he suggested I steal a stupid diamond from this other mafia he was dealing with. So I took the offer"

He looked at me and pulled out a gun which pressed against my forehead

"So you're working for him" he said

"NO! I'm not I was just proving my self that one time. The only time" I said in defense

He pulled the gun away and huffed

"It's such a coincidence that you work for my company and suddenly attract yourself into my life. I remember you saying you don't like labels but now you call me babe" he said

"Vinnie you've changed me. You've changed my life for the greatest and the worst at the same time, and you're gonna end it all over some stupid thing that I did. I love you" I say

"I LOVE YOU TOO! But you don't see me basically fucking my ex to betray you" he yelled as a tear fell down his face

"I'm not fucking Jaden or anyone-"

"Then why aren't you fucking me" he said and I paused myself from crying before my mood changed

I started laughing

"Is that what this is about" he looked at me kinda embarrassed

"No. No y/n it's not about that." He said putting his gun away

"Be honest Vin" I said getting his sympathy

"I've wanted you so bad these past couple weeks but I've always seemed to contain myself when you went away to your own home. I never knew if you were a virgin so I never asked." He said and I couldn't help but laugh again

"I'm not a virgin I just don't want out relationship build upon sex, let me out and we can do whatever you want" I say trying to get out

"No- no y/n that's not why you're here. Just answer this truthfully and I'll let you go. Are you working for Jaden"

"No. You can talk to him yourself at this point." I say confidently

He sighed and left leaving me alone again in this basement

Ugh he seriously has trust issues

He needs to let me go already
