I took my seat that was close to Vinnie's and he laid his hand on my thigh

If he thought it was going to calm me down he was so wrong

I started tapping my foot on the ground which caused Vinnie to tighten his grip on my thigh a bit

She got to talking about business and I tried my very best to keep cool

How could I not stay calm? She was blowing up his phone for god knows what

*After the meeting**

Everyone walked out except me, Vinnie, and Kenzie

"Hey Vin can I talk to you... alone" Kenzie asked stating me down at the last part

"Sure" he said looking at me then back at Kenzie

"I'll be at the house if you need me" I said before leaving the place and heading to his home

I huffed walking through the front door and I aggressively sat on the couch

"Hey what's wrong" Kio asked

"It's nothing honestly" I say with my arms crossed

"Well you slamming the front door and having a pouty face says other wise" he joked which made my smile

"Do you know a girl named Kenzie" I asked and he looked at me for a minute

"How do you know her" he asked getting serious which was weird I've never seen Kio this serious before

"Well Vinnie brought her up as his ex and she took my original place in the meeting this morning" I say

"Y/n. Please don't get in her way of what she wants. If it's Vinnie she'll do anything to get him whether your alive or not" he says and I got up

"What is up with Vinnie and his relationships so much so his girlfriend had to put up with his shit," I said annoyed

Kio got up with me and followed me out the house

"Y/n wait-"

"No Kio I'm not staying around to find out if I get to live over some guy" I said grabbing my car keys heading to the garage

"I thought you love him" he said and I stopped in my tracks turning around to face Kio

"I do. Trust me I really do, but I've already risked so much and I can't stand to sacrifice myself. She can have him and if he doesn't want her then he knows my number" I say getting into my car then I drove off

I got home and packed a suitcase because I felt like I needed a vacation

My phone was getting blown up with calls and text by Vinnie and it was really hard to not look at them

"I'm so sorry Vin" i said wiping my tear away 

Vinnie's pov

I got home after the everyone went home and I went straight up to me and y/n bedroom

"Babe?" I yelled but she never said anything back

I went searching downstairs, the backyard, the meeting room, everywhere

"Vinnie" I heard someone yell and I turned around to see Kio

"Kio have you seen y/n" I asked worried at this point

"That's why I'm coming to you.
Y/n left.. I don't think she's coming back either"

"What makes you think that"

"Well I warned her of a little bit about Kenzie" he says

My fingers ran through my hair in frustration

"Why would you tell her that when you know how every other girl dealt with it"

"I'd rather have her know before it's to late and she ends up 6 feet deep Vinnie"

"Look what you did now! She ran away. She's done with me" I was breaking down at this point

Why did he have to say shit

I grabbed my phone and tried to call and text her but she wasn't responding to me

She disabled her social media accounts

Turned her location off from me without saying goodbye or why she really left

I'm not going to let her leave me that easily, but for now I have the right to stay to myself
