Together... and Apart

Part 16

Jennifer's POV:

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!" I hear a scream and I open my eyes slowly, still startled from the noise. 

"What?!" I say while yawning and rubbing my eyes. Once my vision becomes better, I see a muscular man sitting half naked in front of me. He has a goofy smile on his face, he's laughing hysterically with gorgeous brown puppy-dog eyes. Once I realize who it is I jump in his arms, I'm only wearing a t-shirt. Nothing underneath. I cuddle up in his chest and trace my fingers down his naked chest, while he strokes my hair and kisses my forehead multiple times.

"Happy birthday sweetie.. I love you so much.." David mutters in my hair.

"I love you too.. why'd you wake me up so early?! It's... 4AM!! DAVID WHAT THE HELL! WE HAVE WORK TODAY! I SWEAR TO-" I get interrupted with a pair of lips pushed up against mine. David forces his tongue inside my mouth while licking my lips. He pulls away, making me breathless as always.

"You're welcome," he says back to me calmly with a sarcastic smile on his face. I smirk at him pretending to be pissed off, it doesn't really work on him anymore. Instead he pushes me on the bed making me yelp. He hovers over my body, he's only wearing boxers and his hair is completely messed up. He has an adorable smile plastered across his face. 

"I have to put you in a better mood.. you're grumpy today, aren't ya," he says before invading me with tickles. 

"David! Stop right-" I can't continue my sentence since giggles erupt from me. I kick my legs at him but he doesn't stop. We both have smiles across our faces. We're an incredibly good couple.. I can be honest with him, he's the best. Up until he becomes a super strong man and tickles me.. then I don't have enough strength to fight back. That's one thing that sucks. He finishes tickling me and remains in the same spot as before, on top of me. I'm out of air, the tickles completely wore me out.

"You little shit." I respond back and push him off of me. I cross my legs on the bed while David sits across from me. I slept over again at his house, we're in his bedroom now. The sheets and pillows are messed up, but I have to admit, David has a spectacular view. 

"Can I give you your gift now?" he pleads, fiddling with my fingers. 

"Oooh! Duh.." I say with a bit of sass in my voice. He gets up joyfully and runs out of the room like a little boy. God he's such a goof.. it's a good thing to have a goofy boyfriend though, things aren't as boring. He runs back inside hiding something behind his back. He jumps onto the bed beside me, making me bounce a little. He lays down so I go beside him, snuggling in his chest. He hands me the box which has the 'Tiffany and Co.' logo engraved on it. My mouth immediately drops and I jump up on the bed. 

"David! Oh my goddd!" I scream with excitement. I open the box quickly and admire the gorgeous jewelry. He chuckles at my actions, while I kneel down and look at him, my mouth still open. 

"ITS GORGEOUS!! THANK YOU!" I scream and jump into his arms. He wraps his arms around me and kisses my temple.

"You really like it?!" he says pulling away, his hand caressing my cheek.

"Baby, I love it. And I love you," I say to him while I pull him in for a passionate kiss. I feel him muffle words into my mouth but I continue kissing him while I force my tongue inside, making him shut up. I pull away, my hands still in his hair while his rest on my waist. Everything's moving so fast.. I know David and I have only been together for a little more than a month, but I've known him for a year, and it's like we've been dating since the first day I met him. 

David's POV:

I'm really glad Jennifer liked the gift, but the real reason I woke her up this early was because I set something up for her on the roof of my house. I think she'll like it even more. Seeing her happy makes all my worries vanish.. It only maters if she's happy.
