It was a usual morning at work. Kirishima was in his office. He set his coffee down on his desk as he looked through his calendar to double-check meetings and deadlines. "Two meetings today. Presentation on Monday. I hope they give me something good this time." He grabbed a pen and started writing down some notes for the meeting. Suddenly, there was a knock at his door. Kirishima didn't look up when he answered, "Come in!"

His assistant walked in, "Good morning, sir. We have our new employee here with us. We didn't have his work area ready, so we were wondering what we should do. Maybe he could sit in at the meeting today to get used to how we do things here?" They asked.

"Sure. And can you just show him around the place for the rest of the day? Maybe show him what we're doing next week."

"Okay. Of course. Oh! Would you like to meet him? He's just outside the door."

Kirishima still hadn't looked up, "I'm busy right now. I'll just welcome him at the meeting."

They slowly walked up to him, "he's actually waiting right outside the door. I'm sorry."

Kirishima looked up for a second, "Just tell him I'm busy. I really need to finish this before the meeting." He looked back down to finish his notes.

They suddenly heard a knock on the door, "sorry to interrupt. I didn't mean to be a bother, Mr. Kirishima. I'm just really excited to be working at your company. I'll just go wait in the room where the meeting will take place."

Kirishima immediately looked up when he heard his voice, "no. It's okay. I'm sorry, I feel rude now." He stood up and walked up to him. "I'm Eijiro Kirishima. Nice to meet you." Kirishima held his hand out towards him. 'Wait. Fuck. He already knows my name. Why did I still say it?'

He smiled and shook Kirishima's hand, "I know who you are. Nice to meet you. I'm Katsuki Bakugo. Sorry again for interrupting."

"No, I'm sorry. I got to work a little late because of traffic. So, I was running behind. But that was my fault. You can sit down with me before we have the meeting. I can walk you through what we're discussing today."

"That would be great. Thank you."

They walked back to Kirishima's desk and sat down. "Hey, Rin? Do you mind getting katsuki a copy for the meeting? Just so he can be caught up while we go over last week's main topics."

They nodded their head, "of course. Anything else?"

"That's it. Thank you."

They walked out and closed the door.

"So. Did you just move here?" Kirishima asked.

"Actually, yeah. I lived about two hours away. I just needed a new view. I've been stuck in the same little town all my life. My parents hated the idea of me moving, but, I like it here. Despite being alone because I don't know anyone."

"I'm free. I mean...if you ever need someone to help you around. It would be good for me to do something that didn't involve work. Sometimes I feel like it overwhelms me."

Bakugo nodded his head, "thank you. And if you need something to do, I have piles of boxes that still need to be unpacked."

Kirishima smiled, "I'd love to help."

They got interrupted as the door opened. Rin walked in and handed Bakugo a folder, "here is the copy. The meeting is in twenty minutes, so I'll go make sure that there's an extra spot for you."
