The boss || Kiribaku

Chapter 2

Bakugo was sitting at his desk, finishing up a few things. He put some of his things away then picked up the phone. He dialed Kirishima's number and waited. "Hello?" Rin answered.

"Oh, hi. I'm sorry, I was trying to reach Mr. Kirishima. Is this the wrong number?" Bakugo asked.

"No! I'm sorry, you called the right number. But I take all of his phone calls first or else he would never be able to avoid some of the companies who won't leave us alone. I just write down the information and then let him decide who to call back. But I can transfer your call to his office if you would like?"

"Please. Thank you."

"Okay. Just give me one moment." Rin put him on hold and walked over to Kirishima's office. They knocked then opened the door a little, "answer it. It's Bakugo," they whispered.

Kirishima could feel his hands getting sweaty, "thank you."

Rin smiled at him, "good luck."

Kirishima took in a deep breath and picked up the phone, "hello?"

"Hey. So...what did you wanna do for lunch?"

"I actually already order food if you just wanna come to my office."

"Like, right now?" Bakugo asked.

"Yes. If you can."

"Is that okay?"

Kirishima smiled, "well, I'm the boss. So, yeah, it's okay. I promise."

"Okay. Let me just get a few more things and then I'll head over."

They said goodbye then hung up the phone. Bakugo cleaned up all his things and stood up.

The person sitting next to him looked over, "Hey. Where are you going? Lunch? We were all gonna head down to get food. There's a really good restaurant just across the street from here."

"Thank you. But Mr. Kirishima actually invited me for lunch. I was just heading to his office right now."

"Really?" He asked.

"Yeah. Why?"

"No, It's just, weird. He's not friendly."

"Well, he's nice to me."

He shrugged at Bakugo, "I guess he can be nice. I'm just surprised. Anyway, good luck."

Bakugo walked away and started walking to Kirishima's office. He got nervous as he stood in front of his door. He knocked and waited. "Come in!" He heard Kirishima call out. He opened the door then closed it when he walked in. "Hi. Thank you for inviting me."

"Of course."

Bakugo walked up to his desk and sat down, "how much was it?"

"Why?" Kirishima asked.

Bakugo tried not to laugh, "this is...a lot of food."
