Luke's P.O.V.

"Hey Mike?"

"Hm?"

"You never told me about Aurora." Mike walks over to me and pats my shoulder. "She's fine. I told her you were ok and she said she'd be over later to see you." He says calmly but I know he's hiding some thing.

Mikey's P.O.V.

I'm sitting in the waiting room with my parents waiting to Hear what the doctor is gonna say about Luke. I knew what was gonna happen today.. That's why I told Luke not to come to school. Ashton was gonna teach Luke a lesson for messin with his girl. Aurora doesn't belong to anyone... Only herself. I respect her so much. She's a strong beautiful girl who will grow into a wonderful successful woman. Well, as long as she doesn't let a man in her way.

"Mr. And Mrs. Clifford?"

A man in a white doctors coat asks. My mother quickly jumps up and rushes over to the doctor. "Yes, yes? How is my son?"

"He's doing well. Only needed some stitches here and there, we got all of the glass out of his face and his face will look just as it had before just with a few little scars as soon as we take the stitches out. His nose was a quick and easy fix but, As for his back is bruised and will probably be very sensitive for a while, but it's not broken. He should be able to walk fine but I do suggest that someone help him walk for a little while, we'll also provide some crunches for a little bit and I think he should stay out of school for a few weeks, or until you get things straitened out. Just so we can see his back is doing. And we would like to keep him here over night just to make sure everything is okay."

"I'll help him out with his work and stuff." I offer as my mother and father are listing to the doctor. "You are not allowed to hang out or around that Ashton ever again. Do you see what he did to your brother? He could've made Luke paralyzed!" My dad yells at me as I stumble back. It's killing me knowing that I knew about this. I didn't stop it. This is my fault. "Sir, if you don't keep your voice down I'm gonna have to get security." The nurse says as she walks by. "Dad, I'm sorry, believe me. I'm not going to be around him for a looong time." I say with confidence and move past him to hug mum. I kiss her head as I say sorry whilst crying on top of her soft hair. "Michael, tell me you knew nothing about this, did you?" I look down at my fragile mother. She's not my birth mother but I still love her and call her mum. "If I say I didn't I would be lying..." My mother looks at me and begins to cry harder.

"You knew?! and you didn't tell anyone?!" My father yells. "I tried to stop him, and I tried to tell Luke not to go to school today! This fight happened because Luke loves Aurora and so dose Ashton! And Ashton said he will do anything he has to, to get with her!"

Everything gets quiet in the ER. "Are you serious?" My mother asks pulling away from me so she can look up at me, she has her small fist on my chest and her eyes are bloodshot. I nod, I'm not lying, Aurora better stay away from Ashton, he hurt Luke bad.

"We need to go home and get some things, but we'll be back later." My dad tells me as I help my mum back into he car. Dad grabs my shoulder and turns me around to face him. "I love you son, and you know that. But you need to tell me or your mum if something like this is gonna happen. You need to stay here and watch your brother. Will you do that for me?"

"I love you too dad, and yes I'll stay."

"Good, call Aurora over. She'll want to see Luke." I nod as he turns to get into his car and leave. As I'm walking back into the hospital my phone goes off. It's Aurora.

Aurora:
How is he?

Me:
He's gonna be okay, he'll just be out for a few weeks of school.

Aurora:
What!?! I'll be over as soon as school is done. I promise!

Me:
Okay. We'll be here.

"Mr. Clifford?" A female voice says behind me. "Yes?"
"Your father forgot to fill this one paper out. Could you? Or would you like me to hold on to it if he comes back?"

"He'll be back later, you can just hold on to it until then." The woman nods and walks back behind the desk. My phone goes off again and I thought it was from Aurora again but it wasn't, it's a video text from Cal.

Will you go out with me Aurora?"

"Yes."

"Oh. My. God."

She can't do this to Luke. He's gonna go crazy. I can't tell him now, I will tomorrow. Maybe.
