You and Sarah were busy at work, making sure the store looked good before people started coming in. Sarah looked over at a poster on the wall with a family. She stared for a moment and you noticed.

"Sarah? You good over there?"

"Huh? Oh! Yeah."

Chuck then came walking in.

"Hey!" He greeted.

"Hey!" you greeted back.

" Sure is quiet around here. Bad guys taking a holiday too? Not that I mind, by the way, because the Intersects could certainly use some down time as well. Right baby?" Chuck asked, looking at you and smiling.

"Oh my God yes...Speaking of which. Babe can I ask her?"

"Yeah go for it!"

"Ask me what?" Sarah asked you.

"Oh well, uh, we have a cover hangout tomorrow!"

"Christmas at the Bartowskis!" Chuck cheered.

"Oh, uh, thanks for the invitation, guys, but I don't do Christmas."

You chuckled a little.

"I'm sorry. I think you just said you don't do Christmas?" you asked her, shocked.

"Look, I would rather not get into it." Sarah told you, hopping on to the couter to sit.

" But it-it's Christmas!" you exclaimed.

" Look, we're not buying the whole Scrooge act, okay. Underneath that spy cover is a regular person just like the rest of us. I mean, honestly, how weird could Christmas have been for you?" Chuck asked.

"Christmas at the Burton household meant the annual Salvation Army con job."

" Okay, well, it's, uh... okay, you're a little different than the rest of us. But Christmas at the Bartowskis means eggnog, PJs, a fake gas fireplace and that's right-- Twilight Zone marathons."

"What about you Y/N?"

"Well remember how I've told you my family don't care. Yeah I never did Christmas with my family. I mean they may have bought me a few things when I was a kid. But once I met Chuck when we were three, I always did Christmas with Chuck and his family growing up. So their traditions are my traditions." Sarah looked at you and smiled a little. "Listen, Chuck and I are not taking no for an answer, Walker, so prepare to be heart-warmed."

You and Chuck looked at her smiling and she just shook her and head and smiled back then threw a crumpled napkin at you both.

Since you had time before the store opened, you walked with Chuck back to the Buy More where Morgan came running over to you both.

"Oh, thank God you guys are here! Thank God. Anna won't speak to me, you know, after I balked at the whole moving in together thing."

"She thinks you're immature." Chuck started.

"Afraid to grow up and be an adult." you added.

" Exactly. Yeah, exactly, and that's ridiculous! Do I not look like an adult to you two?"

Well, it was hard to take Morgan seriously with that question when he had to dress like an elf right now for work.

Chuck was going to answer but just walked away.

"Y/N?" Morgan asked you.

"Uh...." you had to walk away as well.

"20 large says this thing ends with the pigs making that punk eat lead. Thoughts?" Lester asked as everyone gathered around a TV watching a car chase that was happening on the news.

" I say he crashes and we end up with a stand-off, maybe hostages." Anna said.

" Never going to happen. Please, you guys are amateurs. This has "beatdown" written all over it." Jeff said.

"Okay, bring it in then. Bring it in, everybody. Bring it in."

You and Chuck looked at each other, both of you had a weird look on your face, then you looked back at the group.

" Well, it's nice to see everyone's in the Christmas spirit this morning." Chuck commented.

"Bartowski!" Big Mike shouted, dressed as Santa. "Door's open in an hour. Round up the freaks, have everyone meet me at Santa's village. Pronto!"

You stood by the front desk at the entrance while Chuck and his co workers were getting a talking to from Big Mike. You looked out though and saw Ellie and Devon coming up. You waved at them and they waved back. Chuck then walked over to you and saw them as well and let them in.

"Hey, what's going on?" Chuck asked.

"We, uh, we decided we'd beat the rush and take advantage of the friends and family discount." Ellie replied.

" Oh, don't worry about getting me a gift, babe. You already did." Devon told her.

" I did?"

" Yeah, I took it upon myself since you never know what to get me."

" Well, that's great. What'd I get you?"

"Weekend sky diving trip with the boys in Crested Butte. 10, 000 foot free-fall. Awesome!"

You and Chuck just stared at Devon as he was about to high five you both but then Chuck got called over again.

"Uh, yeah. Hey, great. I got to get back to work. Y/N, you want to stick with them for a bit before you head back to work?"

"Yeah! Of course! I would love to!

"Great! You kids have fun." Chuck then kissed your cheek quickly before leaving.

"Great, so, um, my gift to my fiancé is a ticket to death." Ellie told Devon.

" Babe, it's completely safe. Besides, I need the adrenaline rush, a little sense of danger in my life."

"Y/N, would you let Chuck do something like that?" Ellie asked you.

"Well, I mean, I don't think Chuck would do something like that for real, but if he would? Probably not. No."

"Exactly. Come on Y/N." Ellie said, linking her arm with yours as you both walked away.

"What?" Devon asked confused.

After a little, you left Ellie and Devon to do what they had to do, and chilled by the Nerd Herd desk. Lester, Jeff and Anna were still watching the car chase on the news when all of a sudden the sirens from the TV seemed to have gotten louder.

Chuck looked at you and walked over to you.

"Should we be concerned?" you asked Chuck.

"I don't know. But get behind the desk."

All of a sudden, the car from the chase was now crashing through the Buy More and heading for you and Chuck. Everyone else in the store ducked and got out of the way. Chuck grabbed you and shielded you as the car got closer and closer. Luckily the car stopped right at the front of the desk.

But then a man came out of the car, gun in hand.

"All right, nobody move!" He shouted.

" Pay up, suckers!" Anna told Lester and Jeff.

You and Chuck held up your hands as he pointed the gun at you both.

" Hi... Welcome to the Buy More. And Merry Christmas." Chuck told him.

Well this was not how you planned to spend your Christmas eve.
