Chuck vs. The Sensei Part 1

"Yup. John Casey scares me." Morgan told Chuck as they were walking around the Buy More.

"Well, that's what happens when you bottle up your feelings like that. You wake up one day and you're a seething mass of pain. Right."

" Hey, what's going on with you and Jill?"

"Nothing. Nothing at all. You know, I just wanted to get some closure on what went down between us and... I got it."

"And Y/N was okay with it?"

"She was. I mean she still wanted to get her hands on her for what she did to me but she understood and supported me all the way. It was a little rough but... We are probably even better than ever now."

"That's awesome man. It made you even more sure who the right girl is for you."

"Exactly."

Chuck and Morgan looked up and saw you walking in.

"Ah, speak of the smoking hot angel."

Chuck looked over at Morgan and gave him a look.

"What? I know she's your girlfriend and my best friend but I ain't blind."

"Hey guys!"

They both greeted you back and Chuck walked over to give you a sweet kiss.

"I'll get out of here." Morgan said before walking away.

" Yeah." Chuck agreed. Morgan waved goodbye to both of you and then Chuck turned to look at you.

"What's up?"

"Nothing. I just got bored at work and came over here."

"You just left?" Chuck asked laughing.

"One of the other girls are there and it's extremely dead so...yeah!"

Your phone then began to ring and you looked to see who it was. It was Sarah.

"Hey Sarah!"

You ended up needing to go meet up with Sarah and Casey down in Castle.

"Guys, does the Global Launch Agency mean anything to you?" Sarah asked.

" GLA? Sure, they've sent probes to every planet except Pluto. Although, Pluto's not officially a planet anymore, which really bums me out." Chuck answered.

" That's true. Space camp is where all the cool kids go."

Chuck glared at Casey.

" GLA also conducts top secret research for the NSA. Most of our surveillance and weapons tracking technology is developed there. We picked up intel that someone might try to penetrate one of the lab's secure facilities. I want you and the Intersects to surveil the facility. See if there's anyone inside who you flash on." Beckman said.

" Another mission already?" you asked.

"Is there a problem, Ms. L/N?"

" No, no. No, I was just, you know, we were kind of hoping for some downtime." you explained, pointing between you and Chuck.

"Um. We'll take it from here, ma'am." Sarah said and Beckman signed off.

"Aw, you need a little break, Bartowski and L/N?"

" Yeah, that'd be nice." Chuck said. " I mean, Y/N and I went through a lot with Jill and we were hoping to just spend some time together for a little and relax."

"Sure thing, Chuck. I'll just call all the criminals and rogue spies and let them know to hold on a sec, 'cause Chuck Bartowski and Y/N L/N need some time to sort out their lady feelings." Casey said sarcastically.

"Ease up, Casey." Sarah warned. " Look, guys, we know how hard this has been for both of you, but maybe a new mission is exactly what you need right now."

You and Chuck both shrugged.

You were all at the GLA building now. But you and Chuck were, once again, stuck inside the van while Sarah and Casey were inside the building.

"Great, new mission in the surveillance van." Chuck started.

"Very exciting." you finished, both of you talking in a deadpan, sarcastic tone.

"You're on an open mic, guys. " Sarah said, coming in on the comms.

"Are we? That's, that's good to know. Thanks for telling us that." Chuck said.

"Uh, we have all the entrances and exits covered. It looks pretty quiet." you told Sarah.

" You're not seeing anything?"

" Nothing. No flashes, nothing."

" I'm all clear here."

" All clear. Security's tight." Casey said, coming in, checking out the location of the building he was in.

As you and Chuck were still sitting there you then were both startled when Casey started to yell into the comms.

"Close the west lab door, Chuck!"

Chuck quickly hopped onto the computer.

" I'm in! I'm in! I'm in, it's just going to take a second."

"Do it! Do it!"

"Almost got it. Almost got it. Almost there."

" Now, Chuck. Close it. Lock it down!"

" You know, I don't know one person who responds positively to being yelled at!" you jumped in.

" He's getting away, Chuck."

Chuck got it and the door shut.

" Door closed. Got it. There. See?"

" You idiot! You said you knew how to work this system."

You both looked up and now saw Casey on the camera, stuck.

" Ooh, hang in there."

" Come on, Chuck!"

"Almost got it. Almost got it. Got it. No problem. Ye of little faith."

And Casey was running again.

A short while later, you and Chuck exited the back of the van and when a car passed you, you both made eye contact with the man staring at you and you both flashed.

You both saw Casey with this man. He seemed to have been a teacher to him.

"Oh no." Chuck said.

"Hey, did you get a good look at him?" Sarah asked Casey.

"Didn't have to. I know him."

"What?"

" Guys! Hey!" you called out as you and Chuck ran towards them.

"We just flashed on that dude. And it is crazy, it's actually kind of a small world, funny story." Chuck started.

"Save it. His name's Ty Bennett. He was my sensei. Taught me everything I know."

You all stared at him shocked.
