Chuck vs. The Suburbs Part 3

The next morning, Chuck woke up and noticed you were already out of bed. He got up and headed downstairs to find you in the kitchen cooking.

You heard him come down and turned around to greet him.

"Morning babe!"

"Hey! What's going on here?"

"What's it look like? I'm making breakfast."

"Please don't tell me the neighbors are coming over."

You laughed a little.

"No no. I'm making breakfast just for us."

"Really?"

"Yeah! Well I mean every time I sleep at your place or you at mine, either both or one of us has to get going to work so we never have time to sit down and have a real breakfast and with this going on, I figured why not?"

Chuck smiled and walked over to you, coming up behind you and wrapping his arms around your waist and giving you a kiss on the cheek.

"You're amazing you know that?"

" I do. But I don't mind you telling me." you told him with a smirk. "Now sit. Breakfast is ready."

"Oh are there any more bugs around the house?" Chuck asked quietly.

"No. Sarah and Casey swept the whole house and it's clear."

As Chuck sat there and watched you serve him breakfast, a smile appeared on his face and you noticed it.

"What?" you asked him.

"Nothing. It's just...I could get used to this. You and me....Living together... Having breakfast...Married."

You smiled even more and blushed.

"Yeah...I can too actually."

The dog then came up to both of you.

"Hey boy." you greeted him. "Hungry?"

You decided to give him some of the eggs you made.

"You have such a soft spot for dogs."

"You do too Chuck. So shut up and eat your breakfast." you told him, smirking once again. Chuck laughed and continued to eat.

As Chuck was heading out the door, leaving for work, Sarah showed up, dressed in her maid outfit once again.

"Good morning Mr. Carmicheal." Sarah greeted.

"Morning."

You greeted Sarah as well as you walked outside as well.

All the neighbors were waving at you both once again. You and Chuck waved back.

"This still creeps me out." you told Chuck quietly. "Please hurry back."

"You'll be fine. You'll have Sarah here with you."

"I know."

"I will see you later." Chuck leaned in to give you a kiss. "Love you."

"Love you too."

Chuck got into his car and waved at you one last time before driving off.

As you walked back into the house, Sarah waved you over into the kitchen.

"You want some eggs Sarah? I have some left over."

"Oh! That's okay. Thank you. I do have something I need to talk to you about though."

"Shoot."

"We know who planted the bug."
