Recap: Somebody stole your evidences. The Judge said that everything is against you and Jennifer now as your evidence was lost. You lost all hope now. Suddenly a girl stepped in the hall.
The Girl: Your Honour, I'm Nisha Chauhan. Rohan's ex girlfriend. I'd like to say something related to this case on behalf of Miss Michelle Elizabeth.
Rohan went shocked after seeing her. You tried really hard to remember her but vain. At last you recognised her voice. It was the same girl with whom Rohan cheated on you and ran away after locking you in basement. Although, You were drugged so you didn't saw her face but you heard all the talks going between them.
Vikram: My lord, you can't allow her. This witness wasn't in the witness list which was provided by Miss Jennifer. [Panicked]
The Judge was in deep confusion whether he should allow Nisha to be your witness or not.
Jennifer: Please your honour.
Vikram: No your honour. You can't. There was no information giver about her.
The judge gave a death stare to Vikram and said
The Judge: Mr. Vikram, don't you try to teach me what should I do. Got it?
Vikram: I'm sorry my lord.
The Judge: Miss Jennifer if you convince the jury members for this then Miss Nisha can be your witness. I leave this to you, Jury members.
Jennifer stepped towards Jury members.
Jennifer: Dear Jury, Do you know what a women feels when she goes through these kind of tortures? She feels like giving up on her life. When the one, whom you loved, turns out to be your biggest mistake then what else would she do in seek for justice? 90% of crimes, done against women, doesn't get registered just because of this judgemental society and fear. The Fear of "LogKya Kahenge." and those who register don't get justice. I leave it to you now whether you wanna give justice to this daughter, sister, friend or not. That's all your honour.
The whole court clapped for Jennifer after these words. You got emotional. The jury started to discuss. After some time the jury wrote their decision in a paper and gave it to the judge.
The Judge: Miss Nisha Jury and I give you permission to represent Miss Michelle in this case.
A big smile cheered up your face. Nisha stepped in the witness box.
Nisha: Today I wanna confess a mistake that I committed 3 years ago. Rohan and I were dating. Rohan made a plan to trap Michelle for money and her fame. He stepped in Hollywood through Michelle. Rohan used to inject her drugs and get sign on cheques which wroth dollars. I was with Rohan in all this crime. Before leaving for Mauritius, we drugged Michelle for the last time and got sign on cheques worth $500000. We locked her in the basement and left. But after 2 months, Rohan cheated me and ran away with all the money. I felt guilty about Michelle when I heard about her condition in NEWS due to overdose of drugs. I wanted to apologize but I felt ashamed. Being a women I tortured other women. When saw all this on NEWS. I thought I've got a chance to confess my mistake. These are Michelle's credit card bills of expenses done by Me and Rohit. We did fraud with Michelle. She was just a teenager at that time.
The Judge: Rohan do you wanna say anything?
Rohan: It's true, sir. [Ashamed]
Your eyes widened as you heard all these. Now everything was against Rohan and Nisha. Acceptance is the biggest evidence. The judge and jury checked all the credit card bills.
The Judge: According to all the proofs shown by Miss Nisha Chauhan and her confession, the court considers Rohan Malhotra and Nisha Chauhan guilty. According to IPC Section 294, 358,424, 307 and 153, for Mental harassment, physical abuse, fraud, threatening and attempt to murder involving drugs, the court announces LIFE IMPRISONMENT to Rohan Malhotra and 3 Years Imprisonment to Nisha Chauhan. The court is dismissed.
Tears rolled down through your eyes as you heard these words. You got justice in your case. But there are a lot of women who suffer all these crimes everyday but are still quite because of society. Rohan and Nisha were arrested. You hugged Jennifer tight. You couldn't stop crying. You were so happy.
Everybody left, the whole court was empty now. But you were still sitting there, celebrating your victory over evil. Suddenly a man came and sat beside you. It was Ajey. Ajey wasn't even looking at you. He was just sitting still, not even saying a word. It felt like he is guilty for his behaviour. He was guilty because he left you when you needed him the most. Your tears were not stopping after seeing him. With a polite and emotional voice you said
Michelle: Kya tum mujhe kabhi maaf kar paaoge [crying]
He forwarded his hand and you interlocked yours.
