Y/N's POV

You silently sat there waiting for your food to come. You didn't actually go to the diner as an apology for Levi, you could care less about his feelings, instead you actually went there because you happened to turn hungry talking to that fishy girl, Amai.

Flashback

You stepped out of the office and walked to a whiteboard to see some insights on a new case. You carefully examined the whiteboard looking at the possible suspects for the case.

You were about to move closer when someone touched you on the shoulder causing you to flinch. You turned to the person who touched with a piercing glare, and low and behold it was the sneaky little rascal Amai.

"What do you want?!" You said turning back to the board. She stood beside you looking at the whiteboard too, which caused you to glance at her skeptically.

"I was just looking at the case too." She answered examining the whiteboard. You turned your face towards her and slightly raised a brow.

"Your not apart of this case." You say, she chuckled and lightly touched your shoulder which caused you to flinch a bit.

"I thought you Already knew me Y/N, you said it yourself the other day that I normally do this." She said. You removed her hand from your shoulder and looked at her.

"I know I said that, but when it comes to cases where it involves me, I will no tolerate that behavior." You say staring at her intensely. She noticed your change of attitude and waved her hands in a protective manner.

"Okay..okay...I'll not snoop in on this case." She said finally placing her hands beside her. You narrowed your eyes at her and pushed on her more,

"You won't snoop in to any case ever, unless it involves you or has something to do with you." You finish looking back at the whiteboard again. She makes no moves whatever and looks at you,

"What do you mean. I can't do that-."

"Why can't you? Are you perhaps not telling me something?"

She tensed by the sudden question and immediately denied it

"No..no..no, what I mean is that, it's a natural hobby for me, so I don't know how to change it." She said nervously glancing at you.

You didn't take your eyes of once at the board when replying to her,

"Adapt to it."

"I-." She was about to say something but you cut her off,

"I guess we are done with this conversation. Could you do a favor for me and tell my partner to meet me by the exit.
Thank you." You say as you walk away and went to the front door.

"Now I'm hungry, great!" You said to yourself

End of flashback

You sighed and looked towards the window.

All you could think about was work.Work was practically more important to you than your own well being, you just never had a break due to these recent murders, and all you could say is it really stressed you out.
