Y/N's POV

"So your saying the ball is in one more day.."

Y/N frustratedly ran fingers through her hair. "Yes, because you had to take 2 fucking days to make your decision." Levi crossed his arms and glanced at you.

"I told you that I'll think about it." He said. You looked at him and skeptically raised a brow.

So it takes 2 days to think about going to a ball with a hot ass cop......okay, Don't get conceited Y/N. But besides that why take so long to answer, it's just a yes or no question.

As you were saying these things in your head, you concluded that there must've been something that forced him into thinking about this for 2 days

But what could it be?

Levi noticed your state of mind and rolled his eyes annoyingly "Getting suspicious of me already." He said, you snapped out of your little trans and stared at him.

"I was always suspicious of you, or did you forget what I said to you." You said. He looked at you and smirked. "Why would I forget, they were such interesting words."

You tilted your head. "How could that be?" You say while smirking lightly

"I know who you are..." he started, you looked at him and narrowed your eyes. "That's not such words to say to a person when you just met them."

At this point the tension was intense , and both you and Levi are staring at each other with much intensity. There was a-lot of things you and Levi didn't discuss about your first meeting, it seemed as tho you both forgot. But in truth both of you didn't, you guys were actually curios on what the other party thought, but now it seems that you guys will finally get the answer.

"Oh and something else.." Levi said while raising a finger. "Let the games begin." You sat there in silence, you did this not because you were intimidated, but because you had nothing to say.

Just nothing.

"I'm actually quite curious about what you meant by 'let the games begin'.." he said looking at you. You narrowed your eyes even more. "Can you explain to me what you meant by that, L/N?"

"I thought for a man like you, you would know what it meant Ackerman." You say leaning back on your chair. Levi sat back on his chair too and looked at you with a smirk.

"Well I'm glad you think so highly of me, but not every man knows what's it's like in a very consequential females head.." you tilted you head at this "So I'll like for you to specify what you said to me, only if you don't mind." He finished.

You chuckled and looked at him. "If you want me to specify what I said to you, it'll never happen." He stared at you with narrowed eyes. "Why?...well, it's simple.....I know who you are."

Right then is where the both of you stared at each other deeply. Levi had a serious expression on his face while staring at you, what added more dynamic was his hair sitting on the front of his face too.

Then there was you sitting on your work chair and staring back at him, but with a smirk plastered on your face.

It seemed as tho time slowed down because The stare felt like hours but it's only been about 20 seconds. This whole scene was indeed powerful.
