"You didn't come to visit like you said you will Y/N."

You awkwardly scratched the back of your neck while looking at the female in front of you.

"I've been busy." You said taking your eyes off her and then glancing around at the setting In front of you. It looked different to when you were last at this building. The building was painted white and blue before, now it has so many exotic colors.

"Busy how? Like love~?" She said walking towards you with a smirk. You continued to look around the building while answering her.

"No, just work." You replied. She rolled her eyes and placed a hand on your shoulder. You looked at her with an eyebrow raised. By the look on her face, you could tell what she was going to say next.

"Your still working as a cop, I thought you will just leave after finding the killer of your parents." She says taking her hand of your shoulder and going to a cabinet.

You stood silent, not knowing how to answer her. You couldn't answer because you gave up on that idea a while ago. You weren't able to find the killers, so you decided to leave everything in the past and focus on the present, which was to accept that they were gone.

"At least It's a good thing that you caught them tho, right?" She said looking back at you with a smile on her face. "You are one tough cookie, so I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't."

Then again you stood silent, just nodding to her statement.

"Well anyways, I have guest over, so how about you come over and introduce yourself." She said looking back at you while holding a basket of toys in her hand.

You nodded in response and she started to walk. As you were walking, you couldn't help but see that the place you once lived before was now different. Although you did live here and this is the same place you grew up in, it didn't feel like home to you.

It just felt like another place you knew

You finally came to a door with the girl standing right in front of it. She looked back at you and smiled while touching her hand on the door nob.

"I know how you are, try to make decent conversation." She said slightly opening the door. "And also refer to me as
Mrs. baker."

You eyebrow quirked up at the last thing she said, but before you could say something about it, she opened the door revealing children and somebody else.

Your eyes widen slightly until you narrowed them completely. Mrs. baker looked back at you to see that you had your full attention on a person in the room. So she took the initiative and grabbed your wrist, forcefully pulling you into the room.

You glared at Mrs baker and she completely ignored it. She begins to clear her throat and everyone looks at your direction.
