Hope you enjoy chapter 16 of this book ;)
~~~~~Y/N' s POV
"Zeke Yeager."
"What's the deal with him?" You say to yourself while biting your lip in a thinking position.
What was so threatening about this guy that would make Levi wait?
Did they have bad history with each other?
If they did what could it be?
All of these thoughts were coursing through your head. You tried to think about why he could be such a nuisance to Levi, but nothing kicked in.
You scrolled up to piece you previously read. "Eh...right here... 'warriors', what could that mean." You say leaning back on your chair.
You then typed up the definition of warriors not because you didn't know it, but because you could see the possible definitions it might be.
"This is the only one that makes sense..." you say while clicking on the definition. "A warrior is a person specializing in combat warfare, especially within the context of tribal or clan-based warrior culture society that recognizes a separate warrior class or caste."
"But this doesn't tell me anything." You say frustratedly. You grabbed your cup of coffee and scribbled down some details of this guy. You glanced at the definition one more time hoping that you missed something, and indeed you did.
You looked closely at the screen again and squinted your eyes. "Clan-based."
Then that's where it clicked.
Since Levi is a mafia leader....preferably in your eyes...He would've gotten rid of the enemy easily considering his decisive decision making.
But if the person is exactly like him it would make it difficult to get rid of him.
You sat back on your chair and looked at the screen in-front of you.
"I'm not just dealing with just one group but two.." You say while sighing in the process. You looked at the picture of Zeke one more time then looked away. "At least Levi doesn't look like a monkey."
You were riding in the car with your best buddy Celia. The whole time she was in the car she was stiff maybe because She was confused on why you randomly told her to go in.
She played with her fingers a bit while stealing some glances at you. You were just focused on the rode, not paying any mind that she was there. It was pretty weird too since you told her to get in the car in the first place, but you being a very quiet person at times, didn't know how to interact with that lady, so you just kept quiet.
"Um, can I ask you something?" Celia asked while looking at you. You kept one hand on the driving wheel while picking up a hash brown . "I'm guessing that's a yes?"
You stood silent just focusing on the rode ahead of you. Celia awkwardly began to raise her hand to touch your shoulder. She finally tapped it but you didn't notice. She did it again and you finally looked at her with a raised brow.
