devon woke up from her dream from kisses on her head. she hummed and turned over and opened her eyes. beau had a soft smile in her face.
excitement washed over devon and she tackled the man down to the bed in a hug.
"i missed you!" she said, kissing his cheek and his forehead.
her arms looped around his neck and beau's hands were softly running up and down her waist.
"i missed you too, a lot" beau says, kissing devon on the lips.
"wheres katie and bella?" devon asks, sitting on the mans lap and looking around.
"with their mom. i'm picking them up in the next two days, i have to be on set all day tomorrow and i'll pick them up the next day" beau pushed devons hair behind her ear.
"all day? i thought we would've been together while i was here" devon pouted, momentarily forgetting how he lied to her a couple hours ago.
"i'm sorry baby, i have some scenes to finish and then i'll be free until you leave so you will still see me"
"cant i go to set with you?"
"devon.." beau said in a voice devon reminds her of when her dads voice when she was about to do something potentially disappointing.
"baby, please? i haven't seen you in months and it feels like i havent talked to you in years. i'll just stay in your trailer i promise" devon gave her best puppy eyes and lip quiver but he had two little girls so he's not going down.
"i'm sorry love. not tomorrow, i'll see you for the rest of your trip and it'll be fun. i promise"
devon nodded and kissed him, beau tangled his fingers in the women's hair and pulled her closer.
"but for now, we still have a couple hours for ourselves"
