Final Exam

Aisu’s POV

 

I woke up to rain hitting my nose. I scrunched it up and opened my eyes to see it raining. I let out a tch and got up, I was completely soaked. Soon enough, the rain around me became snow from my cold body temperature. I made an umbrella out of ice, but the snow continued to fall around me. I’d have to ask what day it is, if I slept for a day than the final part of the exams would be in tomorrow.

 

I got up from where I was laying and decided that it’s time to start wearing a new outfit, I mean I wore the other one for quite a while….With the memory of my past just seen, I decided that I should wear that outfit, it was the one I wore practically every day with Hashirama and Madara. When I got home, Iruka and Kakashi were asleep in Kakashi's room. I smiled at their sleeping faces and looked at the calender hung up in the kitchen. I had slept for two days…. wow…. I sleep for like a hundred years and then I sleep for two more? What! Anyways, the final exam would be today. I looked at the clock to see it was three in the morning.

 

I decided to let One sleep. Teleporting to the ramen shop, I walked to the hotel that he would be in. The rain had stopped then, and I used my tails to jump up to an open window where Gaara was. “Hey Gaara,” I said with a smile. He widened his eyes. We were then on the roof. “Shukaku told me about you,” He said. I looked at him confused and asked, “When? I mean what did he say?” He went on about how I was his ally and that One told him about when we lost each other. I covered my head in shame. “I didn’t know where he was…. I didn’t… I would have looked for him… I- I’m so sorry…” I said. I held my knees tight to my body, tears fell down my face, turning into snowflakes as they fell off of my cheek.

 

I wiped my tears and sat indian style. “Well, moping around can’t change the past, I’ve tried that already,” I said. I then turned to Gaara and let out a smile. With the full moon behind me, I felt the frail string holding my hair together let go, releasing my long hair, and making it move in the wind.

 

I sighed and grabbed my hair into a ponytail and made an ice hair tie. “One told me about your mission,” I told Gaara. His eyes went wide at me. “Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. However, I am going to stop you, you have some man named Orochimaru helping you. He’s a traitor of the Leaf Village, I promise no deaths shall occur towards the sand by my hand. I can see that it would be One’s wish….” I replied. Gaara nodded slowly. “I know the night is almost up, but how about I sing you and One a lullaby? I have a great new one,” I asked. Gaara again, responded with a slow nod. (I bet I’ve already posted a video of the song, but I’ll do it again ‘cause yes)

 

I set his head on my lap, closed my eyes and began to sing,
