Aisu’s POV

I woke up to Sakura poking me with a stick to check if I was dead. If looks could kill, she’d be dead three times by now. She flinched back and held a scared look. I smiled, “Good morning Sakura, what do you think you were doing?” I asked.

        

        She flinched a little bit more and managed to say through stutters that Kakashi wanted us to protect the bridge builder, as he was almost finished. I quickly changed and headed out with her. “Sorry for scaring you, I’m not much of a night person…” I said with an apologetic look. “SASUKE!” Sakura yelled as she jumped up with joy. I watched her as she fangirled. I smiled slightly and we all went with the bridge builder.

 

After hearing complaints about the heat I couldn’t handle it, I blew a cool wind through them. They seem to have had their energy replenished and they worked harder. As the last brick was done, Kakashi came, and a fog came it. “We meet again, Kakashi. Looks like you brought some of your brats too,” A deep voice said. “Zabuza…” Sakura whispered. Kakashi told us to protect the bridge builder. We all went around him, and Zabuza sent clones. Sasuke and I managed to get two, and I helped Sakura get one. I grinned at her and told her good job. She nodded and got back into her stance. Kakashi then took out his sharingan. “DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT LOOKING THIS WAY, BAKA! CONCENTRATE ON YOUR FIGHT, I’VE GOT THEM! I’M STRONGER THAN YOU AND YOU KNOW IT! JUST BEAT HIM BEFORE I DO!” I yelled at him.

 

Zabuza said a remark about how I could never beat him and it got on my nerves, very easily. I went behind him and placed my teleportation jutsu mark on his back. I threw some kunai around and teleported between them. “Kakashi, go and get the bounty hunter nin, he’s coming on the right in a few moments,” I told Kakashi as I began slicing him slowly. He nodded and went to the right and blocked him. I could tell that the boy was shocked and looked my way. I smirked and stuck out my tongue through teleportation. Zabuza managed to get a good hit on me, and sent me to the water. “Bad idea Zabuza!” I said. I brought out several of my tails and made a wave come towards him, a wave that turned to a wave of ice.

 

Luckily, he managed to slice through it. I let out a tch. Then, I heard Sasuke’s grunts. He was trapped in a set of ice mirrors. I was about to leave him be when I remembered the promise I made. “Don’t want to be disappearing for another twenty or so years…” I said. I teleported to Kakashi, I placed a symbol on his book he had in his pocket. I grabbed him and I switched places. “Good luck,” I said as I ran to the mirrors. I ran under them and asked if he was okay. He had needles all over him. “Tch, I have a promise to keep, so you better not die Uchiha! I’m starting to like this generation so I don’t wanna go disappear for another twenty years! I’ve already been asleep for to long!” I yelled. I used my tails and blocked Sasuke from the needles. “Those small things sure pack a punch..” I said.

 

“You can only guard, but what about your body?” The boy said. Needles came for me as well as kunai. “Sweet child… you messed with the wrong demon…” I said. One of the needles had hit the middle of my forehead, I could tell he was shocked, as he let out a gasp. “Sasuke, wanna help?” I asked. He nodded as all the needles were out of him. Then, Sasuke had awakened his sharingan. “Mini-Uchiha, you’ve got sharingan now, let’s use it, just don’t look into my eyes, okay?” I said he nodded. “Let’s make a bet soft child, do you think I could break these mirrors with wind? Or ice? Or electricity? I’m going to try wind, how does that sound to you?” I said. My tone of voice changed. Mini-Uchiha looked at me with fright.

 

I was concentrating, calm and dangerous. I told Sasuke the plan and I began to start it. The boy in the mirrors aimed at Sasuke, and while he was out, I told him, Sasuke, to cover his ears and I yelled. It was the same yell that broke the ice that I was in. It makes a certain frequency that breaks the thing I set it on. A loud screech filled the air, and the mirrors broke. The little boy covered his ears. He began to choke him. Then, a loud and energetic voice filled our ears.

 

“NARUTO UZUMAKI IS HERE!” He shouted. Sasuke wasn’t looking and the ice boy made another set of mirrors around us. Naruto, being him, tried to expand it with shadow clones. I was squished against a mirror….. Naruto realized it was futile. Sasuke asked if I could do the noise again, “That Jutsu does quite a toll on me, I may have a lot of chakra, but my stamina hasn’t quite come back yet,” I replied. He nodded. It happened to fast, needles were heading towards Nine’s host and Mini-Uchiha stood in front of him and took the hit. Naruto and I looked at Sasuke. He fell down in Naruto’s arms.

 

He, Sasuke, began speaking how he never got to kill his brother. “You idiot…. I made him a promise to keep you alive until you could defeat him! You’re not dying here!” I said. I felt my face for tears, but none came. Years of shinobi, I can only cry when I’m alone… Nine’s chakra began to leak and Naruto’s eyes became red. “Nine!” I said. Kakashi and Zabuza looked to us. “SAKURA!” I yelled. “COME HERE NOW! I NEED YOU!” I added. She made a carbon clone and came to me. “I’m going to heal him, so I need you to help me. You have great chakra, plus you like him right, I’m sure he’d want to see you first,” I said. She looked at Sasuke and tears fell down her face. I held my bloody hands on top of his heart. My hand glowed green.

 

“I’ve never used this before, but I know it’ll work, my own revival technique!” I said. “But you’ll die!” She said. I looked at her and smirked. “I have three sets of chakra, I’m good! Plus they’re all enormous,” I said. She placed her hands in front of mine. I could tell Naruto was fighting the mirror boy. I didn’t need to worry about him, he has Nine. The seal on my eye began to drip like ink, I told Sakura to pay no attention to it. I continued to heal, and Sakura helped me. “Thank- thank you Aisu…. for doing this….” She said as tears fell down. “No problem. I’m rooting for you two, you know  (irl, sasunaru all the way). I’m sure he’ll realize what he’s missing out on,” I said as I winked at her. She blushed. “Hey Aisu… you’ve been around for a while, was there anyone you.. you know… loved?” She asked, averting her eyes.

 

“I haven’t been able to love any one in a sexual way, I just don’t swing like that. I don’t swing any way. I love my family, the other tailed beasts, I loved Hashirama, Tobirama, Madara, the making of Konoha. I loved shrimp rice balls, and when I’d train with my friends. I liked watching Hashirama start his family, I loved his granddaughter, though she had a bit of a gambling habit. I loved Elit Hyuuga. I’ve loved many things, but the saddest thing of all, is seeing the people I love go away. That’s the hardest. You don’t realize how much someone means until they’re gone…. you know? When I woke up and found out my friends were dead, it makes you sad that you couldn’t be there to save them,” I said.

        It was then quite between Sakura and I. We turned around to a yelling voice. Zabuza was going against a group of men. Naruto and Kakashi were watching, and mirror boy’s body was on the ground.

 

Sakura and I turned to Sasuke as we continued to work hard. I could feel the chakra going away, and I wasn’t a fan of it. It then began snowing. We turned around again to see Kakashi carrying Zabuza to mirror boy. Then, Kakashi and Naruto came to us. “We’re reviving Sasuke,” I said bluntly. His eyes widened. Then, there was a fit of coughs.

 

Sakura took her hands away and held his face which was on her lap. “Sa-Sakura?” He said. Sakura had tears forming down her eyes. “He’s… he’s not dead!” Naruto said happily. After a bit more of healing, I closed the seal on my eye, I had one more life to revive. Hopefully there won’t be a situation where I have to. Sasuke slowly got up, and Sakura helped. “Welcome back Sasuke,” I said with a smile.

A few days later, we said our goodbyes to the village and left. Naruto had anime tears coming from him as he left the kid. Then, he got his normal self back and pumped his fist in the air, “TO KONOHA!” We all smiled and said together as a team, “To Konoha!”
