Skylox short w/ my group

I glanced over at the ‘Emo’ as everyone liked to call him. I never called him that though. Everyone around here knew he was gay. Nobody knew that I was also gay and I had a slight crush on him. If anyone knew it would ruin my rep. Heck, the guy only had about three friends and they were all insane. Nobody messed with him only because he chose the right group when he joined this school. They’re the group that everybody is afraid of. The group that everyone says should be in an insane asylum and the only reason they’re not is because the leader won’t let them separate. The leader, also known as Ice, is the scariest one and the most insane although she is the most protective of her friends. Her second in command, Juliet, is just as insane as her and just as protective. The last person is Ice’s girlfriend, Kara. The only reason the group is scary to the rest of us is because Ice will pin anyone to the wall if you mess with her friends. Heck, the only reason ‘Emo’ is with them is because Ice felt bad for him because he was getting bullied so she took him under her wing, literally. She has wings and everyone in the school knows it. That’s about the only thing we know about them, other than the fact they’ve all been bullied before and that’s the reason Ice beats up bullies. She doesn’t want her friends to be bullied again, so she protects them. Once the group basically took over the school, their whole grade ditched the school. Only a few people were brave enough to stay, me being one of them. Why they ditched is because Ice announced at a talent show that anyone who bullied them in the past would get the beat down when she got to them. The bravest people and the people who didn’t bully them were the only ones to stay. The grade went from a good 50 something to about ten or fifteen people. The shyest people stayed because they didn’t bully her. The only true bully that stayed was a guy named Derek. He quickly learned not to mess with them. Ice basically put him in a coma for a good six months to a year after she found him trying to bully Juliet. The only bad thing was, most of the teachers were scared of them. Ice almost smashed Derek’s head into a table when she found him trying to flirt with Kara. The science teacher, Mr. U as everyone calls him, tried stopping her but she almost bit his hand off for touching her shoulder. The other reason most teachers are scared of them is because they don’t care what people say. They play Hollywood Undead’s worst songs down the halls, they skip classes, and they don’t listen to class when they do show up. The biggest reason though, is that they’re insane and they have more insane friends that don’t go to school. Worst part is, no one knows who their friends are. All anyone knows, is that they tend to kill people every now and then. Anyways, back to the story. As I watched ‘Emo’, his friends came around the corner of where I was sitting and I heard Ice growl at me for looking at him. I quickly looked at the table and my phone. I went to my messages and texted ‘Emo’. He did give me his phone number when we met. He’s interesting and very friendly. I glanced over to see him take his phone out of his pocket and read my text.

To: Ty

Hey, buddy! How’s lunch?

From Ty:

Why are you texting me when you’re sitting right there?

To Ty:

Because Ice doesn’t like me for some reason.

From Ty:

I’ll convince her to let you sit with us. I promise, Adam.

To Ty:

Alright, I’ll be waiting here.
