I sighed as I looked at the note she left. "What is it supposed to mean?" Jordan asked as he shut the fridge. "I don't know. She's never done this before. She never leaves notes like this at any point in time." I said as I looked up from reading it again. "Kyra is a strange person. We all know this. She always does the unexpected. She doesn't have a certain pattern that she does. She never has plans. She does what feels right and tricks people while doing it." Eddie told us. I nodded. "Yeah, but she hates poems and rhyming so why would she leave us a poem?" I asked as I looked around the room. "I don't know, but like Eddie said. She doesn't have a certain pattern she follows and she is unique. Why would she do anything? Nobody knows what goes through her mind so nobody knows why she does anything." James shrugged. "Ok, hold on. We're all making very good points here. Why would Kyra leave a poem when she hates poems? She's unique and strange so nobody knows what she going to do next. So, expect the unexpected." Jordan said as he sat down on the couch. I shook my head. "That doesn't work with her. Somehow, she knows what people are going to expect and she does the opposite. She is the unexpected because she's related to me. That saying doesn't work when you're talking about Kyra." I looked at the note again. "To find me you must use the clues I left. Here's the first one: Where I died is where I slept, Find the person who killed but left, I'm not the first and not the last. Find the place I last slept." I read the poem out loud. "Where she died is where she slept? She died?" Seamus asked and I shook my head, getting an idea of what she was saying. "She didn't die but she felt like she did. It was when her first boyfriend left her after a one night stand. They had been dating for at least three months and she loved him with all she had. That was in our old house in Minnesota. Her boyfriend was a player and she wasn't the last person he broke. She has to be talking about him because she felt like he killed her and then left." I explained and they all nodded. Aleks stared out the window for a second before turning to me. "Find the place she last slept?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm guessing a good night's sleep which would be that house. She hasn't been able to sleep until after three in the morning since. She still hasn't been able to, but she slept fine before that. Must be referencing the old house." I explained again. Jordan nodded. "Must be if it all connects to it. Do you still have the house? Even after you moved here?" I nodded. "I love that house so yeah, I didn't sell it when I moved here." I said and an idea popped into my mind. "I know! I could call up an old friend of mine to go check the house, her bedroom mostly, for a note with a poem on it!" I told them and James smiled. "Let's do it!" Eddie basically yelled. I smiled and got my phone out. I called up my friend, Juliet, and asked her to go to the house and look for a note in Kyra's room. She happily agreed and said she'd call me when she gets there. We all waited a few minutes before my ringtone went off. I quickly answered it and put it on speaker. "Did you find a note?" I asked. "Yup! Do you want me to read it to you?" I rolled my eyes. "Yes please!" I exclaimed and she giggled. "Alright. Here's what it says. 'Good job, you found the second note! Here is your second riddle: Back roads are fun when you go fast. If you go slow a tan truck speeds past. A ghost is what waits for you. Go find him.' What is that supposed to mean?" She asked and I sighed, remembering what happened on the back roads. "Our brother used to speed on a certain back road but he crashed. She must mean where his truck is in the ditch." I explained. "Juliet, I'll be up there in a few days. Don't worry about anything. Alright?" I asked. "Ok. Do you want me to come get you when your plane lands?" Her voice rang out of the phone. "Yeah. Thanks." I looked around the room. "You're welcome! See you in a few days!" She hung up and I put my phone in my pocket. "Ice? You ok?" I looked up at James and nodded. "Yeah, our brother was a dick to me anyways. It wasn't that sad for me to see him go." I said and he nodded. "I'm going to go to bed. See you guys in the morning." I said and walked out of the room. I went to my room and grabbed my suitcase. I filled it with some clothes and anything I'd need. I grabbed my camera just in case and some other stuff. I knew I'd be gone for a while, so I set my computer to upload my edited videos every four hours. (I don't know if you can actually do that, but it'd be cool if you could.) After I got everything ready, I laid down on my bed and quickly fell asleep.
