I read a few books and thought that this was a great idea for a book and I was also bored at the time that I was writing this. ~Ice
*Third Person P.O.V*
A tall, brunette girl ran through the forest and towards a huge mansion. She knocked on the gate and started yelling. "Seto! Let me in!" She yelled. Suddenly a purple glow went over the gate of the mansion and it opened. The girl ran in through the gate and stopped in front of another brunette. This brunette was a man, though. "What is it?" He asked and the girl gasped for breath. "They're.....following.....me! They......followed.......me.......here. Sorry! I...need....to...talk...to....our...leader." She gasped out in between deep breaths. The man hugged her and patted her back. She hugged him back and finally got her breath back. "Ok, now tell me what happened." He said and she took a deep breath. "I was in the woods when I heard a twig snap. I thought it was nothing until I saw a few pairs of glowing navy blue eyes. I started running towards here and I finally made it. I thought they were following me here to find out where the base is. Apparently, they didn't follow me and I was just worrying. I need to tell our leader about this. Can you tell me where he is?" She asked the other brunette. The man shook his head. "Everyone is sleeping, even him. You can tell him in the morning, but for now you just need to sleep. You're our bravest, strongest recruit yet and we need you to stay that way." He said and she nodded. "Yeah, I'll go to bed. I'll tell him what I saw in the morning. Goodnight, Seto." She said as she walked off. "Goodnight, Ice." Seto smiled and went back to his position. He closed the gate and sat in his chair. He was in deep thought when he heard a twig snap. His head snapped up and stared into the forest. He saw a few pairs of glowing, navy blue eyes and his eyes widened. After a few minutes, the eyes disappeared and so did all other noises until it was just like any other night. Quiet and calm with not a thing moving. Seto sighed with relief that the creatures were gone and settled down again. Meanwhile, Ice was heading into her room to go to sleep when she thought she heard a suction cup sound. She froze and slowly took out her sword. It glowed in the darkness and she waved it around, trying to see if anything was in her room. She sighed and settled down in her bed when she saw nothing. She slowly drifted off into sleep and never knew what was going to happen until a scream shook through the building. She jumped up and grabbed her glowing sword. She ran towards the scream and saw one of her commanders held down by ten squids. She ran up and started slashing at them. Soon they were all dead and she helped the commander up. "Thanks, Ice." He said and she nodded, smiling. "Don't worry about it, commander. I knew this was going to happen, just not so soon." He looked at her. "How did you know this was going to happen?" He asked and she sighed. "I was walking in the woods like twenty minutes ago and heard a twig snap. I thought it was nothing until I saw glowing, navy blue eyes. I started running until I got back here and seen that they hadn't followed me like I expected. I ran into the gate that Seto opened for me and talked to him. I told him what happened and he told me to go to sleep and tell our leader in the morning. When I got to my bedroom, I thought I heard suction cup sounds, but I imagined it. Nothing was in my room, so I went to bed, but before I fell asleep, I heard you scream and ran over here to you. Well, you know the rest that happened after that." She explained to him. He nodded and she looked at the hall window. She narrowed her eyes and looked back at the commander. "We need to leave right now." She told him and he nodded. They left the hall to see a group of people waiting and wondering what happened. "It's alright. He's fine. It was just some squids that got in somehow." She told them and some gasped while others started whispering to each other. She rolled her eyes and lead the commander back to his room. "Thank you for saving me from those squids back there." He said and she smiled. "Like I said, Don't worry about it. It's my job to see that everyone is safe and secure. Our leader gave me that job because he knew that I was good at sneaking around. Listen, commander, if you or anyone else needs help, all you have to do is whistle and I'll show up." She told him and he nodded. "Why do you only call me commander?" He asked and she sighed. "I only call the commanders, commander. Just like I don't call our leader by his name, I just call him our leader. It's what I do and a lot of people know that. Why I do that, nobody will know and I still don't know why I haven't told anybody why I do it. I just do and nobody questions it, until now. You're the first to ask why I will only call you commander and not by your real name. I guess what I'm trying to say is that, I don't know why I do it, I just do." She said and he nodded. "Will you start calling everyone by their true names if I ask you to?" She smiled, "Maybe. Have you heard the rumors?" She asked him. He nodded, "The rumors that you have a crush on me? Yeah, I've heard them. What about them?" He asked and smiled down at her. "Well, they may or may not be true. You take your pick of which one you want." She said and walked off. She went to her room and finally settled down in her bed. She slipped off into the darkness that was waiting for her. Meanwhile, the commander stood still as a twig. He was in shock, but shook it off and went to bed. Neither of them seemed to notice the glowing, gold (sorry!) eyes that stared into the base from the outside. The figure smirked and ran off at the speed of light. It stopped at another base far away and walked into it slowly. It went to a room that looked a lot like a throne room. It knelt down in front of the blue throne and looked up at the figure in the throne. "My king, I have brought news of the other army. They have reinforced their barriers. They also have the one we wanted for so long." The figure kneeling smirked. The king stared at the figure. "They have the girl?" The king asked and the figure nodded. "They have her, but she doesn't remember anything about us other than the fact that she wants to kill all of us." The figure said and the king got up off his throne. "This is interesting. Very interesting. They have the girl and the orb. How exciting! The only default is she wants to kill us and not join us." He said and laughed evilly. He sat down again and waved his hand to dismiss the figure. The figure left and went to its room. It pulled a device out of its pocket and smiled. It pulled its hood down to reveal a brunette girl with gold (sorry!) eyes. She smiled at the device and put it to her ear. "Step one complete. What's next?" She asked into the device. A voice came from the device. "Work on step two. They trust you and they will follow you into the battle." It crackled a little at the end and the girl smirked. "Alright, I'll try my best to lead them into battle." She said and shut off the device. She went to bed, still smirking, still thinking about what she had to do. The next morning, everyone was awake at eight and Ice immediately went to her leader. She found him in the conference room with all of his commanders. They were in the middle of a meeting and she quickly sat down next to the commander she saved the night before. Her leader nodded at her and kept talking about some of the threats that were going around and some other things that were happening. Ice never payed attention to these, but this time she had to pay attention.
