(A/N: I am going to skip till when they're back at the village because the battle they did went similar to the canon except for the part where Izuna watched the whole thing unleash and killed of Gato's men....

~Third person P. O. V. ~
It's been a few days since team 7 returned back to Konoha, and they've been doing D-rank missions again much to their distaste, along with hanging out and training more often.
Now the Genin along with Izuna sat on the bridge in their training grounds aka their usual meeting spot, and waiting for the number one ninja level ultimate late jonin, also known to them as Kakashi-sensei.
"He's late again" whined Naruto with Sakura nodding in agreement much to his delight while Sasuke and Izuna shared a 'Hn' and smirked at each other.
Soon and by soon I mean an hour later Kakashi finally decided to show up with a lame excuse such as 'I got lost on the way of life' which made Sakura and Naruto even more furious.
But much to Kakashi luck the chunin exams forms managed to calm the hot-headed genin down.
Izuna shot Kakashi a questioning look once seeing the forms doubting that team 7 was ready, and Kakashi just sighed and signed 'Hokage' s orders ', she gave a short nod and hopped off the bridge's railing.
"I am going to meet a friend" was all she said before putting on her mask and disappearing, leaving a pouting Naruto who was just about to ask her for celebration ramen.

~Izuna' s P. O. V. ~
I made my way silently down the scream filled hallways making sure to mask all my emotions as I finally reached the door that I wanted.
The door had the sign 'Head of T & I' written on it.
Knocking on the door I entered once I heard a gruff 'Enter' and bowed.
"Ibiki-san" I greeted the scarred man.
"Kitsune what are you doing here? Do you want to have fun torturing someone like the old days?" he asked getting cheerful once realising it's me.
Ibiki was my Sensei when I was six years old, he taught me how to torture someone in various ways and created a slightly sadistic part in me that I keep masked.
" I wanted to ask if I can supervise the first trial of the Chunin exams from the shadows" I said bluntly.
He shot me a questioning look "Haven't you heard? Hokage-sama have a job for you during the first two trials of the exams, I already tried asking him if you can supervise with me and Anko" Ibiki said smirking.
I just nodded and left heading to the Hokage office to see what the mission is about.

I teleported inside the Hokage office interrupting the busy Kage.
"Ah Kitsune I was just about to summon you" Jiji said as I got down to one knee.
"What is the mission you have Hokage-sama?" I asked.
"I need you to deliver this message to one of the Sanin" he said handing me a green scroll.
"Which one?" I asked.
"Jiraya the toad Sage, he's in a village near Iwagakure" He said and I nodded knowing that this mission is going to take till the end of the first trial.
"My only request is to put someone to guard Naruto in my place while I am gone Jiji-san" I said getting up.
"I'll have Kakashi and Iruka take care of that then" He said smiling softly and I nodded going to find Naruto.

Once I found him he was arguing with some Suna genin, not that I cared.
I teleported beside him startling a cat boy, and pretty blond with four pigtails in the process.
"Naruto-kun, I will be gone on mission that will end by the end of the Chunin exams, stay safe while I am gone, behave yourself and good luck with the exams." I ranted while he grinned at me that sunshine warm grin.
"Don't worry I'll stay safe and make sure I win Izuna-chan, datebayo!" he declared happily.
I nodded taking off my mask and hugging him.
"I'll see you in a few days Aniki, stay safe" I mumbled and then shot Sasuke and Sakura a 'You too' look as they nodded.
Letting go of Aniki I put the mask back on teleported to the village's gate and started double checking and making sure that I have Jiraya-san's scroll and the two extra scrolls that contained my clothes and food.
Nodding to myself once I made sure I have everything needed I started weaving my way through the tree lines.
Jiraya-san here I come...
