DRACO noticed you walking down the hallway and decided to join you but once he was caught up, you didn't seem very pleased to see him.
"what? i can't walk around hogwarts with my favorite ravenclaw?" he questioned. "i mean, the only ravenclaw i can tolerate"
"i'm starting to get the idea that you fancy me, malfoy" you laughed. but draco's slight panic convinced you that it wasn't just a joke. "i'm kidding."
you were getting close to your destination and decided to say goodbye to draco but as you did so, you couldn't help but move a piece of your hair back from your face, allowing your scar on your hand to be seen. draco noticed this and immediately took your hand to examine it. it was a fresh scar that you managed to get from being in detention with umbridge.
"what is this!" he looked furious as you pulled your hand away. "i'm serious y/n! who did that?"
"it's fine." you told him. "why do you care anyway?"
"because... i... was just wondering. so it doesn't happen to me of course. or else my father would hear about it." he stuttered as he began to walk away. "i'll- i'll leave you alone now."
he didn't care if it happened to him. he only cared that it already happened to you. but he couldn't tell you that. not yet.
