❄︎ Gray Fullbuster, POV

I was in front of Juvia's door hesitant to knock. I knock softly and waited a minute but there was no answer. I need to knock again. I thought as I began to feel my heart take hard and slow beats. This unknown feeling felt unusual and it was making me nervous. I knock again. But still no answer. I knock harder but again still no answer. Maybe she's not here? I thought. I turn around and it was revealed to me that Juvia was just approaching from behind me. "J-Juvia." I say as she closes the gap between us to open her door.

"What is it Gray-sama?" She said, barely looking at me as she unlocks her door.

"I need to talk to you." I say. She holds her door open just enough for herself to slip inside and shut the door quickly behind her if she needed to.

My eyes were pleading with her as we stare at each other. She hesitates, then sighs. "Come on."

I smile behind her back as she lets me inside. I was beginning to get nervous as she shuts the door behind her. I didn't know what to do. So I start to take my shoes off.

"You can keep them on. Juvia is positive Gray-sama won't be staying long." She coldly says, shrugging her jacket off and tossing her keys on the table. 

I paid no mind to my shoes and begin to examine her house a little bit. While I look to my left, a box full of those creepy Gray plushies catches my attention. I noticed that a lot of them were labeled, "trash" on the forehead.

I gulp. This is NOT going to be as easy as I thought.

"Would you like anything to drink?" She offers politely. The tone of her "hospitality" only makes me shiver. Wow, she's really angry and the longer we don't speak, my confidence is drastically declining.

"Y-Yes, please. Water is fine."

Juvia simply nods as she goes and retrieves the water.

It didn't feel right to walk in her house with shoes, so I took them off anyways. It was taking her a little longer than I anticipated for her to just get some water, maybe she's trying to poison me? Or drug me and make me go to the toilet for breaking her heart? Now I'm scared.

I pass the time by looking at the pictures that were hanging on her wall. By the time she came back, I look down in her hands to see her holding basically an empty cup that was hardly half full. Did it take her that long to do that? She's definitely trying to kill me.

Juvia leads me to her living room, asking me to sit on her couch. I grab the water, while she pulls out a bottle of water and sits on the single recliner away from her sofa, away from me.

"Juvia must say that she is impressed that Gray-sama came in the girl's dormitory without anyone noticing and even was bold enough to knock on the front door. If Erza-san or Mira-san caught you, you would've been kicked out immediately." She says, taking a sip from her water. I did the same.

I basically choke on it, spitting it out. Why is the water so sweet? Did she add sugar in it?

"Yeah, I know." I mutter noticing Juvia was smirking.

"So what is it you would like to speak about?"

"Well, first off, I would just like to completely apologize for everything that happened lately."

"Mm." She said leaning back in her chair, taking another sip of her water.

"I didn't realize Lucy had feelings for me, I had my suspicions but I never really took it seriously."
