The Overprotective ⍣ [Nalu/Gruvia]

A/N: Hi! For the 101k people who have read the previous overprotective, you'll notice that I'm changing the plot cause I have better ideas. So stay tuned as I update each chapter you'll find something new. I re edited the first chapter and made some corrections. But, once that is completed like grammar and spelling and basically the whole book this note will be deleted. The First chapter is Lucy POV the next is Natsu and that's Just how the book starts. It will not presume this way throughout the book. This book is still undergoing maintenance and plot changes. You will know you reached the end of the new plot when the book doesn't make sense anymore lol.

✮. Lucy Heartfillia, POV

I am slumped over the table, hands dangling off the end. "Ughh..." I groan. "Natsu..." I said while staring at Mirajane serve people at their tables. I didn't hear a reply. "Natsu." I said again. Still nothing. "NatsuuuuuUUUU." I said as my voice increase in volume. Then I finally began to hear his fire tone of voice.

"Ah jeez, what!" He said.
"Help me up." I tell him. Suddenly I feel hands push on my right hip. I immediately knew what he was trying to do so I grabbed on the edge of the table with as much grip as I could. "Natsu no! I said help me up!" I yell.

"Oh I'll help you up alright. I'll help by pushing your lazy ass off this table!" He say's rowdy as he continues to push. Each of his pushes gained more and more force. I yell after each push. Once he realized I would not let go he flips the table and I scream.

Suddenly the table stops in mid air. I look only to realize that Gray had stopped it with his ice.
"Natsu stop bullying Lucy." I began to blush.
"Ah shuddap I was just joking."
"Uh... can you help me down?" I said looking at Gray. Gray raises his arms in the air, ready to catch me. I let go of the table and right into his arms. He is so strong. I thought as he puts me down. A part of me did not want his hands to leave my waist but it did. I've been falling for Gray for a while. I have kept it such a secret no one has a clue. Not even Juvia and she suspects everyone.

"All better?" He says looking at me. I nod.
"Hey, Hey, back up." Natsu said intruding my space. I get pushed back a little by Natsu's arm while Gray froze the other. An annoyed vain pop out of his forehead and immediately his fist is covered in his flame and there wasn't a trace of Gray's ice left.

"Looks like someone wants to fight." Gray said giving his famous smirk.

"Gray-sama!"  I hear. I look around but didn't see anyone. I look at Gray and see Juvia standing behind him. "Ah!" Natsu and I jump back with goosebumps.

"How did she-" Natsu started but gets interrupted by Juvia talking.

"Gray-sama, you should know Juvia does not like violence." She said grabbing and pulling at Grays ear. "Ah! Ah!" Gray wines. Suddenly my mind goes blank and I began to sigh. I walk out the guild without them noticing to go home. It's getting late anyways.

I was stirring the food in the pot. Repeating the scene with Juvia and Gray. I sigh lowering the heat on the stove. Usually Happy would be chilling on my couch but he went on vacation.  After putting down my spoon I started to grab a plate. "So what's for dinner?" Hearing that familiar voice startled me. Long story short I dropped my plate that's now broken on the floor.

"Natsu! Would you please make some sort of noise entering?" I say irritated. He says carelessly, "You should know this by now. I don't take the door." I start picking up the pieces of my broken plate. Natsu joins me and helps.
"Sorry Lucy." His voice sounded serious. Which was odd because he's always playful. But this time he sounded confused and off, but most importantly, truly sorry.
