The next morning I went to the medical tent to see how Alyssa was, she was sitting there smiling at me, I felt alive again. I ran up to her and hugged her. I was now crying tears of joy, hey at least its joy, not sorrow, she made me happy, then I brought her up to my room and sat her down next to me. I asked her, “I’m sorry...about what happened yesterday”. She replied, “Why are you sorry? You saved me Jordan, you did it”.
“I don’t want to lose you again’.
“You won’t lose me again”.
“Listen..about everything since we met, I want to ask you this”.
“Well..” I hesitated then said, “I love you Alyssa, I really do”.
She blushed.”I...I..love you too” then I asked, “Do you want to make cake or…”. She laughed then said, “Only if I don’t get face planted into the cake again’. We both laughed for the longest time. One thing I had to was finish was those Russians...they killed my family, I will someday hurt them, but thats for another story.
