We appeared at a factory on Midgard, and Jane quickly drove us towards an apartment complex, upon entry a girl calling her name and rushing over. "Jane!"

"Hey." Jane moved further in, and I noticed a young man, sat beside Erik Selvig. This wasn't going to end badly at all.

"You can't just leave like that, the whole world is going crazy!" The girl proceeded to shout at Jane, and I watched as Thor hooked mjlonir onto the coat hangar. "All the stuff we saw is spreading. Did you go to a party?"

"Erik?!" Jane ignored the questions upon spotting the scientist.

"Jane, how wonderful!" He stood to greet her, and that's when I saw the lack of pants, "you've been to Asgard."

"Where are your pants?" Jane questioned.

"Oh, uh...he uh...he says it helps him think." The other man spoke.

"Okay. Well, I'm gonna need everything you got on this. All the work you've been doing on gravimetric anomalies, everything." Jane told him.

"Okay." Erik nodded, and I remained behind Thor as he moved forwards.

"Are you well, Erik?" Thor looked at his friend with concern, he chuckled, but then his smile faded.

"Your brother is not coming, is he?"

"Loki is dead."

"Oh, thank God."

I didn't think, one minute I was by the door, the next I had a dagger to his throat.

"Danrelle, easy!" Thor stepped forwards, but one look was the warning he needed.

"Apologise." I was full of rage.

"You're the rogue agent."

"That I am, now, are we going to have any further problems?" I asked, my grip on the dagger growing tighter.

"No. I...I'm so sorry." I let Selvig go, and he moved to embrace Thor, who looked down, patting his friends back, eyes not leaving me. "Thank you, Danrelle, a moment?"

"Whatever you have to say, save it. I'm leaving." I informed, dispersing the dagger.

"Where?" Thor's brows creased in confusion.

"To find my father." I replied.

"Father?" Selvig looked between us.

"You know where Malekith is?" Thor asked, stepping towards me.

"Not yet, but I will," I assured.

"How?"

"He let me in. His mind is open to me, and I'm going to destroy him from the inside out." It was a promise.

"Danrelle, the Aether..."

"What about it?" I cut Thor off.
"It will kill you." He was concerned, and for the first time, I felt like he was my friend.

"I'm Malekith's heir, remember? If he wanted me dead, he wouldn't have stopped the Aether back on Svartalfheim." I walked towards the window, opening it up and looking out, then Thor's hand appeared on my shoulder.

"Be careful, don't let his sacrifice be in vain."

"Either I see you in victory, or I'll see him and Frigga in Valhalla, and Thor, thank you." I responded. He nodded, before letting go, allowing me to jump from the building.

I followed his mind, the link strong, various thoughts racing through my mind as I went. After all this time, I finally knew who my father was, and now, I was going to kill him. I'd always sworn if anyone was taking Loki down it would be me, he the same, promising to kill me one day. When I finally arrived at the river Thames, I looked up, to all nothing was there, to me, his ship was. He was clearly awaiting my arrival, as the screams began, people panicking as the ship crashed through the grounds of the library. I didn't move, watching as it stop just meters away from where I stood. It opened up, and Malekith exited, his dark elves following close behind.
