"Okay class, now that all of you have your people, I expect you guys to start your research now. For those of you that have the people who are willing to house you for a week, I will contact your people and tell them they can expect you tomorrow evening," mrs. Moore said.

"Dude, you have Bruce Wayne. Do you have any idea what that means," Sam asked.

I'm going to live in Wayne manor. I haven't heard that name in two months. Maybe I can find out what my father was working on. I didn't realize that I was deep in thought until Sam grabbed my shoulders and saw shaking me.

"Barbra," she yelled at me.

I "woke" up and looked at her. She was literally only three inches from my face.

"What," I asked.

"O God you are alive. I mean I was calling you for like ten minutes," she said.

"Sorry I was thinking."

"Yea I could tell."

I grabbed my bag and Sam and I went to lunch. Today was fast food Friday. This is why Friday is my favorite day. Sam, Toby, Isabelle, Blaze and I all got into Mikey's car.

"Where to first," Mikey asked.

" Taco Bell," we all yelled in unison.

"I don't even know why you ask every Friday," I said.

" I don't know either," Mikey said.

We got to Taco Bell and ordered our food. We sat down and ate at Taco Bell for once. Usually we drive back to school, but today we wanted to do something different.

"So I hear you got Bruce Wayne as you report topic," Toby said.

"Yea," I said not at all excited.

"Wow dude you should be excited. I mean you get to live in Wayne manor," Mikey said with jealousy.

"I don't see what the big deal is. I mean it's just Bruce Wayne," I said.

"I didn't think this was relevant but there is something you might want to hear," Isabelle said. Normally a conversation with Isabelle is all gossip. She would start every sentence with "have you heard."

"Spill the beans," blaze said.

Everyone leaning closer to Isabelle. Isabelle was getting nervous.

"Okay okay so you know how Dick is and orphan. That his parents and his older brother were killed," she said.

"Wait what," I said surprised.

"You didn't know. I thought you knew," Sam said.

"No what are you guys talking about," I asked.

Everyone was looked at each other. They knew something I didn't and I don't like that. I have too know what they know.

"Tell me now," I said firmly.

"Fine," Sam said, "remember when Dick first came here."

"Yea sixth grade," I said.

I remember it like it was yesterday. It was my brother's sixteenth birthday. We were planning on doing something big for him. I was in my English class making him his card when I first saw him. I remember how scared and sad he looked. I thought it was because he was a new student.

"A couple months before he came here, he use to work at the circus. You know the flying Graysons," Sam said.

I've heard of them but never saw them. I didn't like clowns. It's not because they scare me its just because they creep me out. That is the one thing Sam doesn't know surprisingly.
