Barbara's POV

"since tomorrow is your last day of school you guys get a free day," our chemistry teacher said.

"I totally forgot that it's almost summer," I told dick.

"Me too," he replied.

"Mrs. Johnson can I please talk to you in the hall," my chemistry teacher asked.

I slowly got out of my desk and walked out of the door. The teacher closed the door behind him and looked at me.

"Are you okay," he asked.

"Yea I'm fine," I replied.

"What happened to your face," he asked.

"I fell down the stair at home," I told him.

I looked in the room at Dick who was giving me a concerned look. The teacher looked in the room and saw dick.

"Okay I was just worried," he replied.

I opened the door and went back to my seat. Dick grabbed my hand and looked at me.

"Dude what happened to your face," blaze asked me.

"I was in a fight, you should she the other guy," I told him.

"Funny, what happened," he asked again.

"I fell down the stairs," I told him.

"Of course you did," he laughed.

For the rest of the class dick and I talked about summer plans. The bell rang and dick helped me to english class. Sam met us at the door and took me away from dick.

"Where are you taking me," I asked sam.

" to the bathroom so we can fix your makeup," she replied.

"Why," I asked.

"Principal barker called me to his office because a teacher told him that he was worried about you and your face," she told me.

"Great," I sighed.

Sam fixed my concealer and we walked back to class.

"It's so nice of you two to join us," the teacher said angrily.

"Bathroom emergency," I stated.

Sam and I went to our seats and talked to our friends.

"Okay class since its summer that means it's time for you summer reading list," the teacher said handing out pieces of paper.

"isn't this a crime," Sam said out loud.

"miss kyle please just do what you are supposed to do for once," the english teacher yelled.

"damn, sam she told you," toby said laughing.

"mr. marks" the teacher yelled.

The entire class started laughing. The teacher got really mad.

"that's it. I have had it. 30 years I have been working here and this class has got to have the most annoying idiotic students I have ever had," she yelled.

"excuse me," mr. barker asked walking into the class room. "That is no way to talk to students."

Mr. barker and Mrs. Moore walked out of the room.

"Holy crap what shit in her cornflakes," sam commented.

"really," I looked at her.

"Two more classes, until summer officially starts," toby said.

"do you really think that the next two classes are really important for us to attend," dick asked.

"art no and business nothing so why don't we just skip the rest of the day," I asked.

"when did you turn into a bad ass," sam asked me.

"people change,"I stated.

The bell rand and toby, Isabelle, blaze, sam, Mikey, dick and I went to the parking lot.

"so where do you guys wanna go," Isabelle asked.

"how about the lake," sam asked.

"I'm in," I replied.

Sam got in Mikey's jeep and blaze and Isabelle go into toby's truck. I got onto dick's bike and we drove to the lakefront. We pulled up to the lake and we all jumped into the lake. It was the most fun I have ever had. I know that this will be the best summer ever.
