Chapter 5 - first date success

I ran upstairs as fast as i could going through my wardrobe in my mind while questions whirled around my brain. what would i wear? Would it be awkward? Does he really like me? Am i gonna faint or embarrass myself again? Who knew, but as long as i didn't start been a major fangirl it should go well! I still couldn't believe this was about to happen, but I had to just believe it and go get ready. I showered, got dressed into a long sleeved white belly top, some black leggings and put a glittery punk belly bar in. ( i had my belly button pierced when i was 16!) I then did my makeup really nice but simple. I put some moisturiser on my face followed by my mac foundation. Then i put bronzer and highlighter on and did my brows Tanya Burr style. After that I put some shadow in the crease of my eye and some lip balm and i was good to go! I grabbed my bag and had a chat to Zoe and Jess then a black sheek car pulled up in the driveway and Joey smoothly climbed out of the drivers seat.

Zoe looked at me and laughed excitedly and then Jess gave me a quick hug and Joey knocked on the door. Act casual! I said to Jess, Zoe and Matt. I opened the door and he came in, he was wearing his Asos jeans, a dark blue shirt and a black jacket. He looked so cute with his messy yet perfect hair and his leather shoes.
Me; "Hi! Come in,"
Joey ; "Thanks! Hey is it..Jess? "
Jess; "Yes, and this is Zoe and Matt!"
Zoe; "Hi! Ive heard a lot about you!"
I looked at Zoe as if to say WHAT THE HELL? WHY DID YOU SAY THAT?
Zoe; "You know, from Youtube an all."
Joey; "Oh, so you watch youtube then?"
Zoe; "Yes sometimes, well you know a bit it erm depends?!"
And then Matt and Joey shook hands and we went out of the door.

I said good bye to them all and then we got into his car. it was long and black it looked very expensive and posh, and the seats were very comfortable too. I looked at him and then he looked at me, i quickly looked away embarrassed knowing that I was bright red. "So you have talked about me before with Zoe then?" Joey said to me smirking.
"Erm... well i've watched your videos for a long time and i couldn't believe it when you asked me out to lunch!" I replies.

We agreed we would go to a sushi place that was new in LA and it was really good!
Me; "This place is awesome!"
Joey; "I know I've only ever been here once."
Me; "Look, I'm really sorry about last night" i said shyly " I don't really ever drink so i wasn't used to it and i guess i just lost control and i'd seen Tyler Oakley and I was just so..."
Joey put his finger over my lips and smiled.
Me ;"...Overwhelmed"
Joey ;"It doesn't matter, i already told you! You apologise way too much."
Me ;"I guess it's just a British thing to you know... apologise about everything."
Joey ;"Excuses, Excuses"
we both looked at each other and laughed, and then i asked him a question.
Me ;"Ok, so why did you ask me out anyway? I am one of your major physcopaths and i threw up on your jeans?"
Joey ;"Haha, well i guess your just quirky and really cute! Not been rude or anything but how old are you?"
Me ;" Nearly 19, and i already know how old you are! I mean, i know so much about you but you don't know anything about me? I have literally followed your channel for years and I have dreamed about meeting you for like 12 and a half billion years!!! "
Joey ;"Haha yeah I know but that just gives me another excuse to ask you out again doesn't it?" And he winked at me cheekily.
