Willow realized something as time slipped by and the sun began to set. There was only one bed.

She came down the stairs, setting a candle down on the table. She had been using it as the natural light from the sun was starting to dwindle as it hid behind the trees.

"So, there's only one bed... Should we take turns sleeping on the cou-" She stopped talking as she caught Boscha's eyes.

The demon seemed irritated... Angry? It didn't matter! She didn't look happy, and that wasn't good.

"You know what? I'll just sleep on the couch!" The plant witch spoke quickly, her voice raising higher than usual.

Willow laughed nervously as she tried to avoid the demon's eyes. She didn't want to know what emotion they held now.

She heard the couch creek and Saw the pink-haired demon move out of the corner of her eye. She tensed, scared of what was to come.

"Willow?" Her voice was gentle, causing the plant witch to look at her.

Her eyes trailed on the floor, her ears angled down, and her tail wrapped tightly around her leg. The hard spike on the end, cutting into her flesh. She seemed unbothered by it though.

The demon seemed vunrable. A state Willow never thought she'd see her in! She was in disbelief, she barley managed to utter a response.

"Uh, Y-yeah?"

The demon looked up at her and she flinched. Her ears seemed to lower further.

"Nevermind, I've seen enough to know what I need."

"What do you mean?"

The three-eyed demon said nothing as she stood from the couch.

She lit a candle of her own and walked up stairs. At first, Willow thought the demon was going to go lie down up there, but she came back down the steps later, holding a blanket and one of the pillows from the bed.

She then laid down on the couch, covering up with the blanket.

Willow desperately wanted to know what the halfling was going to ask. It seemed to upset her... She left herself vunrable... Something she definitely doesn't do often.

She walked over to the couch and sat down on the edge near Boscha's feet.

"Hey, what were you going to ask?"

"Go to sleep leaf girl." Boscha growled slightly, but there was a hint of pain.

"Rule one, We-" Boscha shot up, tears threatening to fall. "I don't fucking care about rule number one Half-A-Witch!" She nearly screamed at her. "I don't give a fuck about rule number two or three either!"

"Fine! Then I won't care about them either you disgusting... monster!" The tears in the Demon's eyes should've been enough to stop the words that hit Willow's tongue and slipped past her lips... Those words that would show her something she thought she'd never see.

All three of Boscha's eyes widened. The tears fell quickly, showing no sign of stopping any time soon. Her mouth was slightly ajar, ragged breaths escaping in an uneven pattern.

Willow was shocked from the sight in front of her and the words she spoke... Did she really just say that?

She moved her mouth to speak, but no words slipped past.

The three-eyed demon clenched her teeth and balled her fists, digging her claws into her palms. She had so much she needed to say... But she had no one that would listen... She was stuck with someone who saw her as nothing more than a disgusting monster...

She shot up from the couch and bolted out the door in attire unsuited for the cold and snow.

Willow took a moment to process everything that was going on. Her face paled as she stood from the couch. She quickly threw on a winter jacket she had found in the closet of the bedroom before darting out the door into the snow.

She created a light orb and looked around outside quickly. Not seeing her anywhere in the open field she looked at the woods out front. With the mental state she seemed to be in, she more than likely kept running straight.

Willow took a deep breath and ran forward into the woods. The woods that seemed to whisper as she ran in.

Taunt her as she searched. It seemed the trees reached out for her.

She stopped suddenly. She didn't know why she had. Perhaps it was the fact her lungs were burning. Perhaps it was the fact she was now lost in the woods... Or perhaps it was because there were so many haunting sounds.

Where exactly had she ran to? She swallowed a lump in her throat and cuffed her hands around her mouth.

"Boscha!" She called out the demon's name in hopes of getting a response.

And she got one... Just not how she hoped to...

There was a loud roar, cracking of trees, and then a loud shriek of pain.

Willow ran to the location to see a large demon, Boscha was in front of it, blood leaking from multiple large gashes across her torso. Trees were broken around the beast and the halfling.

The creature began advancing toward the injured girl.

Not wanting Boscha to get hurt any further, she drew a circle, making a vine wrap around the creatures leg.

There was a loud pop as the creature looked down at it's leg. Then with multiple sickening cracks, the head was turned all the way back, the creature now looking directly at Willow.

Every bone in it's body began to crack and twist as it turned to fully face the plant witch. It began to make it's way towards her in such a way that she could just walk, and it wouldn't be able to catch her. However, she knew to never underestimate a demon.

She had to think fast, she needed to get herself and Boscha out of this situation...

"Willow?! What are you doing?! Get out of here!"

The plant witch looked past the massive beast to her bully. Those eyes were filled with tears still. She seemed to plead with her.

"I'm not leaving without you!" Willow yelled, drawing a circle. A giant vine wrapped around the creatures torso, pulling it back a bit."

"I don't need you to save me! I'm a monster! You know it and so does everyone else! No one would care if I were gone, but they'd be filled with grief if you passed... They'd blame me... So please... Get out of here..."

Willow clenched her teeth and balled her fists...
