Chapter 25

That guy really scared me. Andre hasn't said anything since we left the park. I put my paci in my mouth and rested my head on my car seat. The limo ride seemed quick; because next thing I know Andre was getting me out of my car seat; and we are making our way into the house.

Dada was in the enterance way waiting for us. "There is my pumpkin. How was the park?" I made grabby hands towards dada. Andre got the message and passed me towards him. Andre seemed confused. "The park went well sir; but there was a guy there who recongized Brandi." Dada looked at me. "Oh? Did he give you his name?" Andre shook his head in the negative. "No sir; but he scared Brandi. He told me to tell you that he will be in contact with you." Dada looked down at me " my poor pumpkin."

Dada got me ready for bed that night; and I was in no mood for anything. I hissed at the slightest movement. "What is the matter pumpkin? I never seen you like this." I shrugged my shoulders. Honestly I don't know what's wrong. Ever since that guy at the park I have been on edge; and not feeling like myself.

Dada took me into the bathroom to do my hair. He pulled and yanked a little bit; which caused me to hiss. "What is wrong with my pumpkin? Hmm?" I looked at him in the mirror and shrugged my shoulders. "Come on pumpkin you can tell dada what's wrong." He turned me around so that I was facing him. "I no know what wrong dada my head no feel right." Dada picked me up and carried me to my crib. "I know pumpkin why not tomorrow we spend the whole day together? Just you and me."

I nodded my head in agreement as dada popped my paci in my mouth. "I think that will help you feel better pumpkin." He kissed me on the forehead "goodnight pumpkin."
