Chapter 4

Donovan's POV

It's been a long time since I last saw the council; but according to the laws I have to go to them if I want to expand my home. I honestly don't get it I mean if I wanted to add someone to my coven then okay yes check in with them; but to get an okay on if I want to expand my house? It is also been a whole year since I lost my little Katie. I miss her so much but no amount of tears; or hating myself would bring her back.

Flashback

Katie and i was told that she has lukemia and she will not have much time to live. I took the news hard; even though she does not quiet understand she is being a big girl by hugging my legs and saying " it okay dada I am supergirl I beat lukyemia up." She said while flexing her little muscles. Katies little age is 2 years old, and anyone who meet her fell in love with her lovable personality. A month into her treatment I decided to reach out to the council. Marco, Tatum and Arrow meet with me ASAP. To put it bluntly they said if they knew a cure or had it they would of told all the major hospitals in the country of USA; but since they did not they apologized for what Katie was going through and if I needed anything else just ask. The one thing I wanted they could not help. Katie died a month later. She was at peace; but I felt like I lost a piece of me that I could never get back. I will always remember her last words to me
"Love you dada. See you in the sky."

E.N.D. of flashback

I remember that day it was horrible. That's when I decided I wanted to help the human scientist find cures. We have not made good progress; but hey who said it was easy. I'm not looking forward to seeing The Council again; but we have to expand the mansion; and there's no way around it. I am now on my way to the councils mansion with my brother Sabastian as my back up. "For some reason brother I feel like this is going to be a good meeting." He said while looking at me. " I'll take that as a good sign brother.
