Chapter 18

Brandis dream

It was dark; I can't see anything. I'm so scared. Where is dada? I try calling for him; but no one calls back or comes out. I was about to cry; but a small light shines through the darkness. "Brandi...Brandi you will find your way. Your lost now; but you will find the right path." The male voice said. I don't understand what he means.

End of Brandis dream

Next thing I know is I have woken myself up screaming. I saw my door open; and dada made his way over to my crib. "What's wrong pumpkin?" I started to cry "I have bad dream." Dada picked me up out of my crib. "It was only a dream pumpkin."

I know he said it was only a dream; but I feel that it was a message of some sort. Maybe it was; but will I ever know? Dada took me out of my crib and made his way out of my room; and went right across the hall to his room. He made his way over to the crib that he had in his room. "There you go angel; you can sleep in here tonight." He kissed me on the cheek; then covered me with a blankie.

Dada put on a night light; then went to his own bed. "Night night dada."
