Axel, Roxas and Xion

Things to know before reading: small tw for slight sexual actions if pinning someone counts... also, takes place after KH3, when they all sit on the clock tower eating ice cream.
Another TW for age gaps because Xion and Roxas are younger than Axel, and thanks to Moogleaxelea for mentioning that!

Roxas sat kicking his legs, waiting for Axel and Xion to arrive with the ice cream.

"Got it memorized?" Roxas heard a voice from directly behind him.

"Axel!" Roxas leapt up and hugged the taller boy. Then he let go. "Wait, you didn't forget the ice cream, did you?"

Axel affectionately rubbed his hair. "Course not. Xion offered to buy some today instead, so we have a few moments to ourselves."

Roxas's heart thumped so hard he could feel it in his ears. "Right." He ignored it, asking, "so, what shall we do while we wait for her?"

Axel shrugged. "I don't know, what do you want to do?"

I want you to hold me close like you and Saïx used to do. Roxas shook the thought away. Nobodies weren't supposed to have emotions. "I guess I don't know." He moved his hand closer to Axel, feeling his heart jump.

Axel just silently took his hand, their fingers interlocked.

"Axel?" Roxas's voice was more of a squeak.

"Hm?" The redhead looked down and immediately took his hand back. "Sorry," he mumbled. "Don't know what came over me."

Roxas scooted closer, letting his head fall on Axel's shoulder and let out a sigh.

"You two would make such a cute couple." A voice snickered.

Roxas backed off of Axel, his face as red as Axel's hair. "Shut up, Xion," he mumbled.

"What? It's true!" Xion offered an ice cream bar to Roxas.

He refused it, sticking his tongue out at her and turning back to the sunset with his arms crossed.

"My arm's getting tired," Xion waved the ice cream in the air.

Roxas felt Axel next to him, and stiffened.

"Just take it," Axel whispered into his ear.

"Or else what?" Roxas whispered back.

"Perhaps," Axel grabbed his chin with his finger so they stared at each other. "Perhaps you'll just have to find out." He winked.

Roxas blinked, staring at him. "Are you flirting with me?" His tone of voice sounded shocked. "Besides, we're all asexual, so whatever you'd do, it can't be that bad."

"Yes, I am flirting with you." Axel winked.

Roxas rolled his eyes. He took the bar of ice cream and bit into it.

He felt an arm snake around his waist and pull him closer. Of course, it was Axel, and knowing Xion, she was probably watching the whole scenario.

"Idiot," Roxas huffed. He decided that if Axel was gonna flirt with him, then he was just gonna be stubborn.

A few more silent moments went past.

No one said anything for a while. Axel kissed Roxas on his cheek, mumbling.

Xion walked over and whispered something in Axel's ear. The redhead nodded, saying, "I have nothing better to do anyway."

Roxas got up after Axel let go.

"Where are you going?" Xion blinked.

"Going to throw the stick-" Roxas was cut off by Axel pinning him against the back of the ledge. Roxas dropped the stick in shock.

Axel had an embarrassed look on his face.

"Axel, what are you doing?" Roxas couldn't keep the shake out of his voice.

"Yeah, Axel, what are you doing?" Xion asked innocently.

Axel leaned closer and closer until him and Roxas's faces were inches apart. He gave Roxas a kiss before backing away.

Roxas didn't keep track of what happened, but he was utterly shocked and flustered.

Xion had mischief danced in her eyes.

"It was a dare," Axel sounded exasperated.

Roxas let out a content sigh.

"Right, but you kissed him, Axel."

"So? And I'll do it again. I'm allowed to kiss my boyfriend, can't I?"

Roxas smiled at the word. "Of course." Then he frowned. "Axel, nobodies aren't supposed to feel emotions."

"Right, but you and Xion are in replicas, therefore no longer nobodies. And I've been recompleted."

Roxas stayed silent.

"So will you be my boyfriend?" Axel held out his hand.

"Of course, you big idiot." Roxas took his hand. "I love you."

"Love you too, Roxas."

"There, was that so hard?" Xion sounded exasperated.
