Prepare yourselves, its fluff but also angst
Repliku woke up to bright florescent lights and three figures towering over him.
As his eyes adjusted to the light, he sat up. The first person he recognized was Ansem the Wise, but there were two other people who looked vaguely familiar.
"Z-" Repliku cleared his throat. "Zexion and Vexen, right?"
The steel-blue haired boy faced him with a look of shock. "I'm surprised you remember those days. But yes, I was Zexion. It's Ienzo now. And that's Even."
"Right.. where am I?"
"Radiant Garden. I think you'll be glad to know that you're in a replica, young one." Ansem the Wise explained.
Repliku had mixed emotions. He was glad to finally be normal, but he would miss flying.
"Just a moment," Even said suddenly. "There's someone who would like to see you. Should I let them in, or do you need more time to recover?"
"You can send them in." Repliku stood up, but was then hit by something with the force of a hurricane, and was pushed back onto the small bed.
"Naminé.." Repliku could hardly form words.
It felt like forever that the two of them sat there hugging each other. When Naminé finally let go, her eyes were shining with tears.
"Whoa, are you alright?" Repliku touched her hand lightly, amazed by its softness.
"I just can't believe that you're actually here," she whispered.
Repliku smiled. He looked around and caught eyes with Ienzo, who simply smiled back.
"I can't believe that I'm here either." Repliku admitted. "I just didn't think it was possible." He wiped the tears from her eyes.
Naminé nodded slowly. "Everyone's waiting! Especially Riku. He's been pacing since we got here."
Repliku stood up, feeling the blood rush to his legs, and he wobbled. Ienzo caught him before he fell.
"Be careful, okay?" He helped Repliku stand.
"I'll try." It took him a few moments, but he finally got used to walking again.
Naminé grabbed his hand with a smile and they walked outside to the town area.
Repliku saw Riku pacing. Then he looked up and smiled.
"So, I see it worked. How are you feeling?" Riku asked, walking up to the two and hugging Repliku.
"I feel.. like a person?"
"I meant do you feel any nausea, headaches, or anything?"
"The light is making my head hurts, but that should be normal, right?"
"Yeah, since you aren't really used to seeing lights that bright yet. But you'll get used to it."
Repliku nodded, wordless. He had no way to express his emotions, he just wanted to hold Naminé close, but holding her hand was good enough for now.
"We'll let you two be." Riku said. "Sora wanted to introduce us to his friends. If you go anywhere, meet us back here in.. an hour and a half, okay?"
Repliku nodded, and watched the group walk away.
"So-" Repliku was about to talk, but then suddenly lost all his words when he was kissed on the cheek by Naminé.
"Hehe." Repliku turned more red when he saw Naminé smile.
"Wow. You have the appearance of an angel." Repliku's voice was in awe.
"Oh. Thank you." Naminé giggled.
Repliku suddenly couldn't resist his urges anymore. He pulled Naminé closer, and pressed their lips together gently, marveled with how soft her lips were.
He pulled away, holding Naminé close, stroking her cheek with a gentle touch.
Naminé leaned into the touch. "What do you say we go and... get some sea-salt ice cream? It's super good, Roxas and his friends showed it to me, and it's so delicious!"
"Well, I haven't had anything to eat lately... so sure. You do have munny, right? Or should we go steal some from Riku?"
"I should have enough. And if not, we can always go bug Riku for some. Let's go!" Naminé smiled.
Repliku took her hand, and they walked towards the shopping area.
After they bought ice cream, the two found a decent spot to sit.
Repliku took a bite of his ice cream, and was immediately surprised.
"Salty... and sweet?" He mumbled.
"Yeah, it's very interesting." Naminé responded.
Repliku kept eating his ice cream, and the flavor sat on his tongue when he was done.
As they sat watching the clouds go by, Repliku breathed in the scent of the flowers.
"It's so beautiful." Repliku mumbled, closing his eyes.
"Yeah. I love visiting Radiant Garden. It seems so peaceful." Naminé let out a dreamy sigh.
"Everything's peaceful and lovely when I'm with you."
Repliku drew in a sharp breath as he looked at Naminé, who had a smile on her face.
"Ready to go?" She asked. "It's getting late."
"Yeah, let's go."
