The kiss🤭💋 (Madison)

(A/N: This chapter is a behind the scenes so it'll be about Charlie and Madi instead of Luke and Julie... This takes place during the filming of season 2...You can skip if you don't like behind the scenes chapters...Enjoy!)

[Charlie's Pov]

"Oh Kenny come on!" I told him. He knows how much Madi and I have been dreading 'the kiss', but he's not taking it out of the show. "I'm sorry but we've made the fans wait long enough..." Kenny replied. Madi was sitting on the costume chests just looking at me arguing with Kenny, I don't know why she isn't helping me. She always says how she's disgusted with the thought of kissing me, she looked more scared than angry tho so I hope she's okay....

[Madi's Pov]

I sat on the costume chests next to where my dad was standing, I was holding his hand as we listened to Charlie argue with Kenny. Clearly losing, I spaced out for a moment before jumping back into reality. When I realized what was happening around me I heard Charlie say, "I am not kissing her! That's disgusting!" I can't believe it, he said the same thing Daniel did. Let me get you up to speed...

Daniel Robinson. 7th grade, he was the cutest guy in middle school. I also happened to have a massive crush on him. It was the school play, and we were doing none other than Romeo and Juliet. I auditioned and got cast as Juliet, and I got so excited knowing that Daniel was playing Romeo. When we got to practice the play, he'd always give me weird looks and pretending to gag whenever we did 'romantic' scenes. When the drama teacher told us about the kiss at the end Daniel immediately blew up at her in front of everyone. He said (and I quote) "I am not kissing her! That's disgusting! I would rather die than kiss her..." everyone started laughing at me and I ran out of the theater crying. When the day of the show came, we did the scenes and the only thing left was the kiss... Before we were going to kiss I saw him putting something in his mouth, before I could ask him what it was, he ended up spitting water from him mouth all over me. I saw my parents stand up in the crowd as Daniel laughed and said, "How's that for a kiss?" I did the only thing I knew how to do. I ran and cried, when I went home I ended up telling dad everything exactly how Daniel said it. And let's just say he got in trouble, I had to drop out of the school because I was getting picked on and everyone knew me as 'The girl who's never been kissed'.

So when Charlie said that my eyes went wide, remembering all the mean things people were telling me after the show. My dad squeezed my hand as he knew about the Daniel thing. So I did the only thing I could think of, I ran out of the room crying...again.

[Kenny's Pov]

Kids. Smh...

[Charlie's Pov]

Why's she running? Was she crying? Why does her dad look like he wants to kill me? Oh god. I have to run after her.....

[Madi's Pov]
I heard Charlie call after me but I kept running until I hit something hard, I looked up and saw Owen looking down at me, "Mads? What's wrong?" He asked. I just hugged him and cried into his chest, he rubbed my back and I told him "Please don't make me talk to Charlie right now..." in between sobs. Owen nodded and shushed me kissing my head, I heard Charlie walk up to us calling my name. "Madi why did you run out like that? Are you alright?" Charlie asked, I pressed my head harder against Owen's chest so I didn't let out another sob. "Dude, she doesn't wanna talk to you right now..." Owen told Charlie, "What did I do?" Charlie asked, I wanted to tell them but they're going to think i'm a coward.

I felt Owen shrug and mouth something to Charlie but I didn't want to look up, "Madi please...talk to me..." Charlie said, I couldn't help it when I let out another sob, clinging onto Owen for dear life. "Madison please don't cry, I just wanna know what I did wrong..." Charlie said. I lifted my head up slowly without turning around and whispered to Owen, "Can we please leave?" Owen nodded and before he turned around he told Charlie, "She needs some time alone." Owen put his arm around my shoulders as he brought me to his trailer. "Okay, Madi...I can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong..." Owen told me while wiping my tears away with his thumb. So I told him everything including the Charlie parts. I trust Owen....
