Ivy was sound asleep in her comfortable bed, snuggled warmly underneath the covers. Moonlight broke through the crack in the curtains and illuminated the whole room beautifully. The green lady felt uneasy in her sleep, as if she was expecting something to happen. Hell, even her plants sensed something and that's when it came - Three rapid knocks at her front door.

At first, the redhead ignored the knocking, hoping that whoever stood outside her door would eventually give up and leave her alone. But the knocking continued and soon enough snapped her out of her sleep. With a small grumble, Ivy stood from her bed, slipping on ( Harley's ) light pink nightrobe over her slim body, tightening the strings around her waist as she stepped into the living room, switching on a small lamp that cast a warm light over the living room.

More knocking and Ivy resisted the urge to cuss out the person behind her door. What time was it anyways? It was definitely past midnight!

"Who is it?!" She snapped angrily, making no attempt to turn the lock and open the door.

"Open the goddamn door you-" Ivy quickly recognized Selina's voice and practically threw the door open in anger.

"What do you-"

"Is this yours?" Selina, with an annoyed expression asked, dressed in her tight catwoman suit that accentuated the curves of her body perfectly, was holding up a drunk Harley by the collar of her jacket. Someone's jacket.

Ivy was too astonished to reply. Her green eyes took in the sight in front of her. Harley smelt like cigarettes and alcohol, her right cheek was glowing red and blood was dried at the side of her head. The jacket she was wearing was too, stained with blood, along with her clothing. Her thigh was cut open and various of different sized bruises and cuts covered her body.

Harley's lazy, nasally voice broke her out of her trance. "That's mah gal, kitty! That's red, she's so cool..." Her head lolled to the side, resting on top of Selina's shoulder and her blue eyes fluttered close.

The woman rolled her eyes in response.

Ivy quickly took Harley inside, the blonde flopping onto her body, leaning all her weight on the redhead. "What happened?" Ivy asked Selina, holding Harley up to keep her from face-planting to the ground.

Selina shrugged, inspecting her claws that were covered in blood. "Saw her half conscious at the bar, surrounded by guys encouraging her to drink until she passes out. Luckily I saw her through the windows or god knows where she would've ended up at." She spoke smoothly, like she had little care to the world. Ivy guessed that a fight broke out to get Harley out.

Nodding, the redhead looked down at the blonde, who now hid her face in her chest. She was clearly enjoying Ivy's attention.

The woman let out a long stretch. "Well... I've got to take a cat nap, so she's your problem now. Good luck." Selina smirked and left, disappearing into the shadows. Ivy watched, annoyance seeping into her skin.

Quietly shutting the door, she helped Harley onto the couch. The blonde clung onto her like a baby koala and refused to let go when Ivy offered to fetch her clean, fresh clothing. Ivy gently placed her well-manicured hands on Harley's shoulders. "Honey, let me clean you up." She spoke softly, although anger was bubbling up inside her at the brutal claw marks and cuts all over Harley's pale body - Joker's doing.

"Mmmmh?" Harley hummed out, clearly too drunk to make out what the green lady was saying to her.

With a tired sigh, Ivy carefully unattached Harley's clingy arms from her shoulders and went into her bedroom, fishing out an oversized shirt that had the words "VIRGINITY ROCKS" spread across it in big, boring font along with loose shorts Harley usually slept in. The redhead laid them out neatly on the bed and returned to the living room, noticing that Harley somehow fell off the couch and was now spread out on the ground like a starfish.

It took Ivy about ten minutes to convince and help Harley into the bathroom. There was a bathtub filled with warm water waiting for Harley's body to be sunk in. The redhead helped Harley undress, as the blonde clearly couldn't do it herself. Still, no matter how many times Ivy tried to get her into the bathtub, Harley clung onto her and didn't let go.

"Harls, it's late. Come on." Ivy urged her on gently, but Harley just buried her face in the crook of Ivy's neck.

"Can I get a kiss?"

"No."

"Whyyyy!" Harley whined out, pulling away to look into Ivy's tired, green eyes.

Ivy's arm snaked around Harley's waist, helping her into the bathtub and sit down. "Because you stink, clean up and maybe I'll consider it." The corners of her lips curved up into a sly smile.

The woman watched the other settle into the hot water, letting out a small hiss as her wounds began to sting at the sudden temperature but soon the stinging faded away and Harley leaned back, relaxing. Ivy settled down onto her knees and helped Harley clean up, her heart aching whenever her fingertips brushed against Harley's bruised body.

"Red?" Harley called out soflty.

"Hmm?" Ivy hummed, washing Harley's back, scraping away the dried blood.

"Thank you."

"Of course, Daffodil."
