My mind was blown away. Someone shot my lovely Grandpa. How can someone be so shallow to kill an old kind man like him.

"Who? Tell me mom. I am gonna rip that person into piece." My mom wiped my tears. "I know your blood is boiling right now. But you need to go to home. Your presence is much needed there." I nodded. Gave a kiss on grandpa's forehead and went home with home.

AT HOME

I was standing on the doorstep when I saw my dad. "Dad!! What happened. Who did this Grandpa." I was shattered in dad's arms. "Y/n be a brave girl. Let's be inside. After what has happened I don't think we should be outside." Me, mom and dad went into the hallway. My grandmother was sitting on the chair in middle of the hallway like a queen. Watching her was always breathtaking. My feet tend to tremble around her.

"Good to see you my little granddaughter. You must have met your grandpa before visiting me."

"Yes grandma." I made a stern eye contact with her. She broke the eye contact with a smirk. "Then you must also be aware of the fact that you are the reason he is in hospital."

"Mom!!" My dad cut her off in. "What? I didn't say anything wrong, did I? If I had a grandson he would have definitely protected my husband. Instead I got granddaughter who puts sets hair of other people."

"At least I am working on my own. I don't need anyone's help." I protested

"Oh darling you would have enjoyed an easy life if you chose the offer I gave you 5 years ago." Grandma taunted me.

Offer!? Yeah, right. how can I forgot that day. I was torn apart between myself and my family..I should have guessed this lady won't let me live peacefully for that day.

My Grandparents are one of the biggest politicians of the country.

My father is a politician too.

My family has a big influence on the major events occurring in the country right now. Here I am, a broke adult trying hard to live. The people around us are confused that why I didn't join politics. Not to face any backlash I hid my identity from media cleanly. The real reason isn't my disinterest in politics.

Every family is happy from outside. Every family has cracks. My father runs an underground business.

I sat next to dad. My grandma was talking to three black suited men. "That sums up everything Robert" Grandma ordered the men. Robert took out his phone. It looks like he is dialing a number. The housekeeper asked me for something. I denied. She stood near grandma.

Robert said "I hope this deal brings us closer than before." he smiled. There was something suspicious about the men. Grandma didn't say anything. "Y/n please close the main door." A soon as I turned back to close the door I heard sound of gunshots.
