[ heel adam is back in nxt, but i'm not happy with what he did to turn heel. this popped into my mind after takeover so yeah ]

Adam, Roddy, and Kyle all run out to save Finn Balor from Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan, and Danny Burch. They chase Dunne, Lorcan, and Burch away. You watch as Kyle helps Finn up. Finn looks like he trusts Kyle and the boys. The four of them stand tall.

Then it happens. Adam superkicks Finn. Kyle starts yelling at Adam. Roddy stands behind Adam, looking shocked. The crowd is yelling at the boys in the ring. Adam just turned heel, and you know his heel turn isn't complete yet.

You watch from Adam's locker room as he talks to Roddy before superkicking his own stablemate and his best friend, Kyle. The crowd collectively gasps and you sigh.

Adam wasn't happy to find out that he'd turn on Finn let alone turning on Kyle. Adam always talked about wanting Finn in the Undisputed Era, and just when that happens, he's told that he's turning on not only Finn but Kyle too because of their growing alliance.

Your boyfriend leaves the ring, leaving a shocked Roddy in the ring with Finn and Kyle. Takeover goes off the air and you leave to meet Adam as he walks back to the locker room.

Wrestlers and backstage personnel are buzzing. They definitely are talking about Adam's betrayal. It's all anyone will talk about until at least Raw tomorrow night. No one knew that it would happen except for Triple H, William Regal, Adam, Roddy, Kyle, Finn, and you.

You find Adam talking to Karrion Kross and Scarlett in catering. You approach the group and Karrion says, "Hey, Y/N."

"Hi, Karrion," you say. "Hi, Scarlett."

Scarlett says, "Hi, Y/N. Let's leave them to talk, Karrion. Y/N looks like she has something to say to Adam."

Karrion nods and the two walk off. You look at Adam. He's looking down and looks genuinely upset. You push back his wet hair. His black Undisputed Era jacket hangs open, exposing his red Undisputed Era shirt. You say, "Hey, you did what you had to do. I know you didn't want to, and Kyle and Finn know that."

"It still hurts, Y/N," he says. "The even the crowd was yelling at me. I thought that the reaction would be better because a break up has been teased for months but everyone just yelled at me instead. I get Kyle yelling at me, that was planned, but someone yelling 'I fucking hate you' at me wasn't planned. That hurts."

You wrap your arms around his midsection, hugging him. You say, "It's just an act, baby. I know how much it can hurt but please don't let it get to you. I've seen what happens when you let something get to you and that's what hurts me."

Adam hugs you back and says, "I know. I'm sorry. I just need a little bit to get over having to turn on my best friend and someone who I'm actually friends with off screen."

"You still are best friends with Kyle and you're still friends with Finn," you say. "Just your on screen friendship with them is over for now."

Your boyfriend kisses your forehead and says, "At least I still have you by my side on screen."

Smiling, you say, "You'll always have me by your side. If you're a good guy then I'm a good girl and if you're a bad guy then I'm a bad girl."

Adam wrap an arm around your shoulders and starts to walk to his locker room with you. He asks, "So what about you being a bad girl?"
