PIETRO'S POV

I saw Clint running after some girl, she had a little boy in her arms, it took me a while to notice that he had been shot in the abdomen, probably by one of the robots.

It didn't take long for me to realize that he was one of the guys from the picture, he was the younger one. That meant that the girl was the girl from the train station. I looked at her and didn't take long to realize, it was her, it was Rachel.

I looked over at Clint who had now frozen over the sight of Rachel and her brother, we could both tell, he wasn't going to make it. He was just a kid, he didn't look any older than ten years old, he had so much left to live and yet he was dying in his sister's arms.

I felt crushed for her, she was losing and finding her brother all at the same time. I wanted to get closer to her in case she needed someone, but Clint gave me a look telling me to stay put. Normally, I wouldn't listen to him and do it anyway, but I knew he was right so I stood back.

He was weak and I could tell that she was trying to put on a brave face for him, she was pushing back the tears to protect him.

"He was worried about you because you didn't come back so he went to find you while I stayed with Mrs Moskiovisc, but then I wanted to go and find you too so I left. I knew it! I knew you'd find me, Rach!". As soon as the boy said that, I knew that she would blame herself. The kid wasn't trying to make her feel bad, but I could tell that she did, she felt responsible.

In a way we all are, it was our fault because we weren't able to protect him, it was her brother's fault for leaving to find her, it was HYDRA's fault for taking her hostage causing her brother to go after her. We were all responsible for what was going on yet at the same time it was none of our fault.

Everyone had now stopped talking, they were looking at Rachel and her brother without saying a word. A lot of the avengers were now watching her from a distance like Clint and I. The captain, Thor, Nat, Bruce, even Tony was hearing everything go down using the coms. We all felt her pain and yet we didn't.

"But it doesn't, it doesn't hurt Rachel" I knew what that meant, there was nothing that anyone could do for him anymore. "Yes Luke, you're going to heaven, but I promise you that you'll be okay and you know that I never go back on a promise" Rachel replied to her brother.

I could see that everyone was getting emotional at this point, even Natasha was standing there in disbelief, and I could've sworn I saw her tear up.

"Lucas, I love you okay. Promise me you'll never forget".

"I-i promi-ise," he said, while he closed his eyes and let out his last breath.

Everyone looked down at the floor, we knew he was gone, and even though none of the Avengers had any idea who she was, they could all hear the pain and the suffering in her scream, "NOOOOOOOO!".

I had just spotted about twenty robots surrounding us, I was about to let everyone know until some kind of purple glow left Rachel's body, we were all pushed back by the impact and we all looked up shocked and amazed when that same purple glow destroying the all remaining robots.

Every single Avenger stood quiet in disbelief, I could hear Tony's shock coming through his comm. Rachel hadn't even realized what she had done, she was holding onto her brother's body, crying.

NO ONE'S POV

"Rachel? H-how are you alive? H-how did you do that?", Wanda was the first to speak up, she thought that Rachel was dead, and seeing her here, in Sokovia, with powers left her in a shock. She didn't really know how to address the situation considering that her brother had just died.
