RAQUEL'S POV
The main issue was the energy field. Pietro had tried to bust through it (I'd heard more than seen that attempt, and what I heard eas what I suppose was him cursing) but to no avail. Clint had tried an explosive arrow, but all that really did was make everyone's ears ring even more (added onto the fact that we kept having to dodge other projectiles and means of possible physical harm).
Now it was my turn.
Clint and I were both hiding behind the same obstacle, our backs pressed to the cold metal. Pietro was, well... trying to function as a distraction, so we'd get shot less. The shield was an odd orange color, and though I knew it had to be projected by technology, I wasn't sure how to get rid of it.
I stepped out from behind our safe place and began to move closer. I only made a few steps before getting the feeling of something coming my way. I turned around to see one of the projectiles about to shoot me. Pietro was running, trying to get to me and get me out of the way but he wasn't going to get to me in time.
There was no way to turn or doge or swerve, but I wasn't going to end my first training session defeated. My instinct took over and I thought about being indestructible, I closed my eyes and only opened them after hearing both Clint and Pietro gasp.
The projectile had crashed into me and was no in pieces, I hadn't even moved an inch from my spot. It was as if the projectile had crashed into a steel wall. Soon after the other projectors started shooting at me but the bullets would simply fall to the ground not even scratching my skin.
I saw the machine that was creating the forcefield and deactivated it after (surprisingly) sucking all of the electricity out of it, my eyes had turned a strong and almost neon shade of purple.
The training was over, leaving me victorious. Pietro and Clint just stood there looking at me with their mouths open in amazement and confusion, I had no idea how I just did that. Perhaps I had just discovered two new powers.
"H-how did you do that" Pietro asked, still taken away by what he just saw.
"I have no idea" I admitted, "I just thought about being indestructible and all of a sudden I was, then, I thought that I could destroy the forcefield by sucking its power, and I did"
Clint broke the silence and composed himself, "I think we might've just figured out you have more powers than we expected" he chuckled.
"I honestly didn't expect you to make it through your first session without a scratch" Pietro admitted as he laughed.
"I guess I'm full of surprises" I teased.
"Are you still indestructible?" Clint asked.
"Only one way to find out," I said thinking, "Pietro! Crash into me!"
"What! Are you crazy"
"Come on! You won't hurt me," I could tell that he was still hesitant about it. "You'll just end up pushing me against a wall or something, I've gone through worse" I assured him.
Hesitantly Pietro took a few steps back and ran towards me, he flew against a wall after crashing into me, and I hadn't moved an inch."
"Guess your still indestructible" Clint added as he helped the speedster get up from the ground, he didn't have any cuts or bruises except on his ego (not in a bad way though).
"Can you stop being indestructible on command?" Clint asked.
"I can try," I put all of my focus into stop being indestructible, I started thinking of being the opposite, and before I knew it. I had fallen right on top of Captain America and was now on the floor of the kitchen.
