Chapter 12- Trust

Thomas
"Hey guys" I said as we all sat down. "Hi Stiles" Brenda said. "You can call me Thomas I kind of gave it away in PE anyway". "Oh thank god Thomas sounds so much better" she replied.

"So what is this amazing plan Thomas" Gally said. I let out a deep breath "I'm going to do what the letter asks". "What Tommy are you insane" Newt said.

"Look think about it I do what Janson wants then he will let the others go if they are actually alive. Then I will escape I have done it many times before it won't be a problem."

"No not happening he will kill you the first chance he gets and we don't even know the others are alive" Minho said. "Guys you need to trust me I have got us out of some deep shit before and my plans may be stupid but they normally work" I said.

Newt wasn't talking he was sat next to me staring at his hands with his head down. The others started to complain to me but I wasn't paying attention. "Newt" I whispered and put my hand on his.

He looked up with tears in his eyes "please don't leave me" he whispered. Everyone stopped talking and I pulled Newt into a hug with his head in my shoulder. "I promise you Newt I will come back I promise" I whispered into his ear.

I don't know if it is the truth and to be honest I'm terrified I have no idea what Janson has planned now he know I am the cure. But I had to reassure Newt even if it was a lie.

Scott
"Hey guys" I said sitting down. "Well you took your time" Malia said and I rolled my eyes. "I was talking to Stiles" I said. "Well what did he say" Lydia asked. I ignored the question.

"I don't think we should be spying on him anymore it feels wrong" I said. "What" Hayden said "we have found out some stuff though". "Forget about it" I replied. "But.." Liam started and I interrupted him and said firmly "the plan is over".

Everyone went quiet after that not wanting to anger me. I needed to get the message to Derek so I picked up my lunch and left not saying anything. Once I wasn't near anyone I said "Derek Derek I know you are on school grounds and can hear me".

Within seconds he was stood next to me. "I heard you" he said "and I will do what you say you are my alpha after all but tell me why the change of heart". "I just think that if we won't be able to figure everything out so if we want him to tell us he needs to trust us which means we can't pry" I finished.

"Ok" he said and then he was gone. Thank god I thought.

Once Newt had stopped crying I changed the subject. "Some of you already know but I am telling Scott about what we went through". People started complaining. "Guys I don't want to hear it he is my best friend and one of T's good friends I want him to know".

Brenda started to complain when Minho interrupted her saying "Thomas we trust you to make the right choice".

After that we all started talking about good times in the maze and the scorch when some funny things happened.
