Chapter 19- Heartbreak

As I was shoved through the door a million feelings were rushing through my brain will they be mad or happy to see me.

"Oh my god THOMAS" Chuck screamed. He ran up to me and jumped into my arms. "Hey Chuck how ya been" I said with tears in my eyes. He just sobbed into my chest.

I kept my arms around Chuck but looked up and it brought more tears to me eyes. Alby, Ben, Winston, Zart. "Hi guys how ya shanks been" I asked smiling a real smile.

Everyone then ran up to me and we all crashed into a group hug. "Where are we Thomas" I then heard Chuck ask. We all broke apart. "Look guys it's really complicated and right now I don't have to time to explain it."

"But you will all be leaving here soon to a safe place and you will get the explanation you need from Minho, Newt, Frypan, Gally and some other friends we made" I said. A few tears then escaped my eyes.

"Hey green bean why are you crying so much if we are all going to be safe" Alby asked. "I....I'm not coming......with you guys" I stuttered out. "WHAT WHY" Chuck shouted and gripped my arm.

"I can't explain I just want you all to know that I will be okay and you should not worry I'm just so glad I finally have got to see you all again" I said.

"No no this isn't fair where are you going" Chuck shouted. "Chuck I.....I just......have to do........something but I promise you that I will not leave you I you will see me again" I said trying to be strong at the end.

Suddenly there was banging on the door. "TIMES UP" I heard someone shout. "Okay guys take these but only use them in extreme cases" I said handed them my two guns. "Once they let you out go to Beacon Hills Sheriffs Department and say you are friends of mine you will be safe there I promise".

"Thomas we aren't leaving you" Alby said. Then the guards came through the door. "You don't have a choice" I cried out as they dragged me from the room. "NO" Chuck shouted but the door closed before he could run out.

I had tears running down my face as the guards dragged me back to Janson. Before I sat Janson said "pat him down". I rolled my eyes and said "surely you should have done this before". He just glared at me. Whilst a guard patted me down he found 6 knifes, my phone and the key but no guns as I just gave them away.

"Thought so" Janson said. "What it's not like I used them" I said. We then both sat down. "Let them go" I then said. "Already done" he pulled up a laptop and showed me surveillance videos of the gladers leaving through the mountains. I then sighed with relief knowing they were safe.

"Take him to his bunk" Janson then said. I was dragged to a room. It was only then I realised it was the same room we were put in the first time we were 'free'. Janson really is stupid sometimes I thought.

I was just about to go through the vent when u decided against it. Alby and the group are too close WCKD could easily kidnap them again at the moment. So I collapsed onto the bottom bunk bed and fell asleep thinking about my messed up life.
