Everyone believes they are the same,
That America is the all-encompassing provider;
That the poor are the poor
And the rich are the rich
And nothing can be done.
There are differences alike
Between us,
Never wanting to believe that anything can be wrong,
That we are the utopia
Everyone dreams of.
But euphoria is missing from this equation.
No one is happy.
Those left behind are stuck in a place of nothingness,
And those at the top are left with the thought
That they have done nothing to help.
