When Two Worlds Collide

First night in new york 2/17/21

Levi was on his way home after his first day of school, while walking he found a broken mirror on the cold hard concrete. Noticing it Levi picked up inspecting the broken item " the mirror is shattered but it's good enough for use, I guess since no one is looking for it I can take it" he gazed into the mirror looking at his busted lip " that guy needs to learn how to punch, he left nothing but a graze Tch" Levi then closed the mirror and placed it into his pocket; continuing his path to his so-called "home"  while Levi was walking home he felt a sudden presence as if someone was following him.

Levi began to focus his well-trained sense on the presence that was following him. His ears could pick up on the footsteps they weren't stomping their feet so that means the person is trying to act as if they're not there. As the daylight started to get further away Levi started to panic;  Come on Levi think! This person is trying to keep themselves from being discovered, they must be after me and not in a good way.

While on thought Levi noticed an alleyway and began to quickly run to it, when Levi took off the person that was following Levi; followed in pre-suit Levi once in the alleyway found a ladder he jumped up before the mysterious person caught up. Levi now on the rooftop watched as the person following them entered; Levi watched closely as the person acted confused. "Tch" was all Levi said as he decided to head back on the path to home.

He jumped off the roof to roof till he made it to the underground, in the underground it almost looked like a subway train it was wide but small at the same
Time. Lanterns were lighting the underground as if it was an unknown city; once Levi found his block he ran to it in a hurry to sit down.

Levi pov)
" Today was tiring, first that bushy brows then the goons next I was fallowed, I'm finally back though"
Sighing from exhaustion I got up and pulled the papers from today's class.

"Let's see, English first?"
Looking at the papers and the questions all that I could pick up from it is that I need a book to read then answer the questions about the book "seems simple enough but there is still one problem, where am I gonna find a book?"
I decided to put the English paper down because I have no way of getting any book and pencil for that matter; alright then I guess I'll move to history?

"World war two?"  World war 2 I don't know shit about that, great I can't answer this paper either
So far I can't do any of the homework Irritated I decided to just go to sleep.

Erwin pov)

After school, I and Hanji decided we would go to a new cafe that opened up "so Hanji", "hm?"
"What do you think of that new Levi kid?"
She paused and grabbed her chin while thinking "I am not really sure, I guess from what I can tell he is serious about school.

Which is a great thing!" I nodded agreeing "well you see the first time I In countered Levi he was trying to steal an apple from the vendor near here" she started to stare at me " did you stop him Erwin?" I nodded "of course I stopped him, I wouldn't let people steal from others" "well that's good Erwin"
I hummed as we continued walking we finally reached the cafe when we walked in we were greeted by the staff " hello! What can I get for ya?" A young female said while standing behind the counter. She had red hair in pigtails with a name tag that read Isabel "hm let's see I'll take a banana boba with orange popping balls, Hanji what do you want?"
"Oh I'll take a....hmmm you know what I'll just get the same as him!"The young girl nodded and left to get the drinks done, After a few min of waiting we decide to sit down.

After a while, at the shop, I and Hanji decided it was time to call it a day, as we left and parted ways I began to walk home, once there I entered the house, no one was home so dad must be on a business trip. I headed to the kitchen after dropping my backpack on the round kitchen table.  I pulled out
Spaghetti noodles and a black spot, I filled said pot up with water and let it boil finally putting the noodles in. I then left the kitchen to watch some tv, After 11 minutes the kitchen timer rang I jumped up now starving, and ran to the kitchen draining the water and throwing the noodles into a white ceramic bowl then adding a mountain of cheese on it " Bon appétit" I said while licking my lips ready to chow down and that's exactly what I did as I ate I did homework  I wonder if Levi is having trouble with the homework? does Levi even have a pencil or phone? When I see him again I should ask that way I can get his number and help him out!
