The Boy Next Door

chapter 9

my mom told me someone was at the door. someone knocked at the door and it was Kyler, Tory, Chris, Hawk, majority of Cobra Kai, along with Sensei Kreese. I did not want to get up. I was crying so my eyes were literally bloodshot and I have severe eye bags. Kreese went downstairs to talk to my parents about shit in karate. "Hey Val, it's gonna be okay" Tory told me to comfort me. I rushed to the bathroom and brushed my teeth to try to look presentable.

Torys POV:
"Guys I found her diary, should I read it?". "Yeah yeah" all the boys said. "Oh dear diary, I met a boy, he made my dull heart, light up with joy. Oh dear diary, we fell apart, welcome to the life of Val and Hawk". The whole room looks at Hawk. Everyone knows what he did except for me.

I heard Tory say something familiar. "Oh dear diary, we fell apart, welcome to the life of Val and Hawk", I rushed out the bathroom tearing up and embarrassed. After a while, they left. Sensei Kreese didn't though. I went back into bed crying. He comes into my room comforting me telling me about his girlfriend Betsy. "Sensei I really do appreciate you here comforting me and feeling better. I'm just sad and angry-" he cut me off saying " I know, I know what angry looks like. Angry comes in all different emotions; sad, happy, all that". "I know you don't wanna be near Hawk but let's go to the dojo, it'll cool you down and I'll get you something to eat after" he says. "Okay let me get ready" sensei is a real life saver.

I got ready and we headed to the dojo. I left of some steam and I was so angry I was beating up punching bags thinking it was Hawk. How can he do this to me? Why would he do this? Did he really love me? Was I just  another girl to him?. My hands were bloody by the time we were done. "Nice work Val" Kreese said. We finished or little private training and he took me to AppleBees. I haven't ate a meal in days and hopefully this will make me feel better.

We sat down and ordered food. "Get anything you want Val, it's my treat". Sensei said. "Sensei, I really wanna thank you for all you've done for me, you've boosted my confidence, you made me happy when I was down, you're like a father figure to me" I told him gracefully. "No problem it's nothing". We had a great time and we ate. I went home and went back into bed crying. Hawk didn't text me. No one texted me. My grades were dropping, my attendance was bad, I was in jeopardy of not passing the grade. I'm gonna go next week. I'm gonna be better.
