It had been 3 years since I left Seoul and the school; honestly, it was hard for me, but what was harder, was me having to live there.  It was hard to say bye to Jimin my first best friend. We decided to completely cut each other out of our lives, so I don't have his phone number. But no one could take his place. I had moved back to Daegu where I met Taemin, my bodyguard.

"Hey, there you are," He said before flashing me one of his rare smiles.

"Hey," I whispered breathlessly he took my breath away every time I saw him.

"I got you the flowers," He said before giving me a basket full of lilies, I smiled taking the for my dish. I like roses a lot but now they always remind me of Jungkook.

I suddenly recalled that part of the night.

"Sorry, for hurting you, I know this is going to be stupid and probably useless but, here's a rose, some say if you apologize to someone with a rose they will forgive you. Will you forgive me Taehyung-ah?" I took the rose from him tears escaping my eyes as I nodded. "Taehyung-"

"You punk-" I sobbed. How did he manage to break into my secure heart? "You still have no manners for your elders," I smiled at him, looking at his concerned expression turning into a cheeky smile showing his shiny white teeth off.

"Stay confident, stay happy, stay like you are, be happier and stay that way, please Jungkook?" I said caressing his left cheek.

"You too, don't change," he said putting his hands into his pockets and leaning into my touch.

"I'm not going to be here 2nd semester," I told him in a whisper hoping the howling wind would swallow my words up but he heard them. he looks at me and my hands fall from his face and into my pocket.

"So, this is it huh?" he asked. "I'll never see you again, will I?"

"Jungkook-"

"No, it's alright, I'm just glad I got to meet you."

"So, this is the final goodbye?" I asked softly and he nodded wiping a tear away.

"It is. Forget me Tae, forget me and fall in love with someone else, someone who isn't me."

"Sir? Are you ok? Do you want some water?"

"Ah, don't worry I just zoned out again. I'm sorry you must be getting tired out of it,"

"No, not at all sir." He answered. Taemin was like that cold, honest, and patient.

He was assigned my bodyguard by my brother, he was paranoid about something. But I didn't mind Taemin's company. He was smart and insightful. He holds more wisdom than anyone I've known. Hyung should've kept him by his side, not mine.

"Sir? You look upset," it wasn't a question he was stating what he saw.

"I am, Taemin can I get a hug?"

He nodded, stretching his arms open awkwardly. He has gotten used to my hug since he has been my bodyguard it still must be strange for him. I wrapped my arms around his waist as tears escaped my eyes.

How could I ever forget you and love someone else?

After all the pain you've cost me

How could I?

.

sometimes a broken heart can only be fixed

when another puts twice as much love that the pain is forgotten.

but if the one that broke your heart comes back into your life

and your heart is beyond repairable what will you do then?

you can't do anything but feel as your heartaches painfully.
